Academic Requirements

  • Applicants must have a B.A.(Honours) degree or the equivalent, with high honours standing in communication or a related discipline. Related disciplines may include sociology, political science, film studies, and Canadian studies.

  • India Eligibility: Minimum requirement overall: First class division (65-74%, CGPA 6.50-7.99 or higher).

  • Applicants without a background in communication studies may be required to take certain designated courses from the undergraduate Communication program in addition to their regular program.

English Proficiency Score

  • IELTS Overall score 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.0 in each band score)
  • TOEFL iBT Overall 86 (20 in reading and listening; 22 in speaking and writing)
  • PTE 60 overall (minimum 60 in each Communicative Skill)
  • Duolingo Overall score 125 (minimum 130 in Literacy; 135 in Comprehension; 115 in Conversation; 110 in Production)
