- The Master of Management offered by the University of Calgary is a 10-month long program.
- It is a fast-paced graduate-level program offered on a full-time basis and includes a capstone project.
- The objective of the program is to provide students with a foundation in business that will enhance their existing degrees.
- The Major components of Management program are:
- Financial and Managerial Accounting
- Business Communications and Law

- This program is a mixture of qualitative and quantitative courses, comprised of a week-long introductory business course and 18 six-week courses along with tutorials and career-oriented activities.
- It is a classroom-based format that allows students to focus on their studies and the classes are designed to start at an introductory level and scale.
- This course is open for students with a non-business undergraduate degree and less than 2-year of professional work experience post-graduation.
- The classes are 3 hours a day and there is a significant amount of work to be completed outside of class (tutorials, studying, presentation preparation, workshops, etc.)
- The University provides the flexibility to complete this program in 2 years and the student-faculty ratio is 11:1.
- Students have to complete their capstone project in the final semester and will get opportunities to make connections with the Calgary business community.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year) in a related field from a recognized institution.
- The related fields that include a UG degree in management are Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Management.
- Following are the GPA condition to admission in masters program:
- If a student's GPA is above 3.3 in the last 20 courses of the degree then the student will not require the GMAT score.
- Students with a GPA of 3.0 to 3.29 may be required to submit the GMAT score.
- Students with a GPA of 2.70 to 2.99 may be admitted based on presenting an acceptable GMAT score.
Work Experience Eligibility:
- Up to 2 years of work experience since the completion of an undergraduate degree is acceptable for admission to this program.
- The MBA program is open to graduates with any degree and students must have at least 2 years of progressive work experience.
Others:
Students without related academic experience or work experience students are also encouraged to apply, given they have completed the following courses:
- Accounting
- Finance and Marketing
- Business Technology Management
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year bachelor’s degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, completed a 3-year bachelor's degree must hold a master's degree.
- Or, obtain a CGPA of 8/10 (or 7.5/10 for IITs only).
Submission of GMAT scores is not compulsory for this program but on certain conditions, it is accepted, however, if students have a GRE score then it is recommended to submit the scores for better a chance of admission.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.

- Electronic Official transcripts: Submit copies of official transcripts from post-secondary institutions attended in PDF format.
- Statement of research interests: Student has to fill their interesting research work area in the application form.
- Preference Form: Some departments require students to fill in a preference form that will ask to outline their preferences for the program specialization, research area, or faculty supervisor.

To be eligible for admission to the MSc in Data Science program at the University of Calgary, you must have a four-year bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, or engineering, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0, or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution. And if English is not your first lamguage, a valid ELP test score is necessary.
You can apply for the M.Eng Chemical and Petroleum Engineering proghram of the University of Calgary if you have completed a four-year bachelor’s degree in chemical or petroleum engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0. You must submit your official transcripts as well as a copy of your cetificate. International students must also submit a valid ELP test score unless eligible for exemption.
The University of Calgary offers Masters programs in various academic disciplines. However, the university does not offer masters program in International Relations.
