I am living in a private accommodation for which I am paying 1200 CAD per month.

The main reason I chose this college was firstly because of reputation and secondly because of location. This was the best experience I had so far in my study life as I got to meet so many new people.

Students can find accommodation in the Downtown area itself but it's pretty expensive and can be shared with roommates. The average rent for a private room in downtown Toronto in a shared apartment is 1000$. Whereas students can find accommodation in the neighbouring areas where the rent for a private room could be close to 600-800$ depending on the location.

Overall, it was a pretty below-average experience at George Brown College, as the degree didn't meet my expectations. I was expecting to get industry-related jobs but had difficulties in finding one because a post-graduate certificate is not valued like a Master's Degree.

Since it’s is in downtown Toronto rents are pretty expensive, I got a sweet deal tho I live 6km away from the college which is about 25 min TTC ride, I pay 700CAD a month with all utilities included

There is no requirement of LOR or SOP for this course, but you do require a resume and there is no interview for this course Well it’s had a good reputation among other colleges and was recognised among companies Overall I do like college experience, helps me connect with new people. Just that the professors are pretty underwhelming. They don’t really teach

I live in a shared room inside a house which is rented by my cousins. On an average if living in GTA, you need to pay somewhere around 500-700 for a shared room. The price keeps increasing according to the location. The said price is for outskirts of Toronto or nearby cities.

My overall experience has been very good yet. I haven’t faced any problems as such due to my college. It has been above my expectations in every field.

Amazing. Everyday is a new day. Get new experiences and meet new people. Faculty is good. Infrastructure is well maintained. Transit is convenient. Have various places to hangout with friends like coffee shops, beaches, restaurants. Everything is in walking distance. Overall a very good experience so far.

I was staying in PG which cost 400 CAD a month with 400 CAD one time deposit. As the time passes you might feel Grocery and Travelling is really expensive here in Canada until you start earning. Occasionally trips are been organized by college which cost you very less so do visit.

Whole IT department has different campus. Located in center Downtown of Toronto. Relative course with less duration.

One can find for accommodation easily on Facebook market place or Kijiji. Depending upon the preference like location and if one wants to rent alone or sharing basis all of it can be found easily on these two platforms. Rent could cost anywhere from $2700- $400.

George brown is a renowned designated learning institute (DLI). As I was searching for Health Informatics program and GBC was the only college offering a pgdm. The best part about GBC is that most of its programs have CO-OP opportunity, which helps a student get some relevant paid experience in their respective field of study. Being a dental graduate from India, I wanted to pursue my masters degree in Canada but as our degree is not accredited by the Canadian government, I had to choose for a different course. Health Informatics at that time seemed to be the best option as it is one of the rapidly emerging field in the health sector. Especially during the pandemic everyone could realize how important it is to augment information technology with the health sector.

The main factor in choosing GBC was the program included specialization in the field I wish to work in the future. No other college provided that. Another factor was the professors are top-class. Most of them are industry professionals and teach industry techniques. Lastly, the college is in Toronto and has world-class facilities and a campus.

On campus housing can be expensive and they are currently suspended due to Covid. Off campus housing is good and can range from 350 - 500 CAD on sharing basis & 500 - 1000 CAD for a personal room

It is one of the oldest & best colleges in Downtown Toronto. As it is Downtown the Part-time & full-time Job opportunities are also ample.

There is college-provided accommodation which usually gets filled real quick. I never stayed there.

I chose this college as it was giving me the exact same course that I always wanted with a mandatory co-op. Also, it was in the heart of the city -Toronto, so choosing this college for my studies was a good choice.
