RBU Result 2026 Out: Check Rabindra Bharati University BA, MA, BFA Results Date-Wise

RBU Result 2026 is being released subject-wise for UG, PG and B.Ed. semester exams. Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, posted the latest lists on October 13, 2026. These cover the MA 2nd Semester results in Philosophy and History.

There is no single result day at RBU. Each department's result comes out as a separate PDF list. In 2026, the BA 6th Semester results came out on August 27, 2026. The BA 4th Semester results followed on October 6, 2026.

The Examination Department publishes every list on the rbu.ac.in examinations page. There is no login and no roll number search box. Students open the PDF for their subject and find their roll number.

Students of the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) check results on the separate CDOE website, not on this list.

RBU Result 2026 Portal by Program Type

RBU uses different websites for regular and distance students. Picking the wrong one is the most common reason a result seems missing.

Older results sit in the year-wise archive on the same page. The archive runs from 2018 to 2026.

How to Check RBU Result 2026?

The university does not ask for a login or date of birth. The steps below work for every regular course.

• Open the official examinations page at rbu.ac.in.

• Find the notice titled "Result of [course] [semester] Exam 2026 in [subject]".
• Use the page numbers at the bottom to see older notices.
• Click the notice to open the PDF list.
• Look for the batch code, such as RAB/PHIS/25.
• Find the roll number under that batch code and read the result.
• Save or print the PDF for future use.

Example: A BA English student of the 2024 batch opens the October 6 list. The roll number sits under RAB/NAS/24.

What the RBU Result List Shows?

Each PDF is marked "Provisional List". It is not the final mark sheet. The Deputy Registrar of the Examination Department signs each list.

A student who failed every paper sees "All courses" or "ALL" in the last column. Older batches appear lower in the same list under their own batch code.

Example: Roll 0304 in the MA Philosophy list shows CC2.1 and CC2.5. That student has no SGPA yet and must clear those two courses.

RBU Odd Semester Result 2026 Expected Dates

The Faculty of Arts released its odd semester academic calendar on October 14, 2026. The Vice-Chancellor approved it on October 12, 2026. It gives the exam start date and the expected result window for each course.

Note: The university can change these dates with approval. The detailed exam schedule comes out separately.

Fine Arts and Visual Arts have their own calendars on the same page. B.Ed. at RBU students follow the second page of the Arts calendar.

How to Apply for Review After the RBU Result?

RBU calls revaluation a "Post Publication Review". The Examination Department rechecks the answer scripts of students who apply. The window and fee come in a notice after each result. Students confirm both with their department.

Review results come out as separate PDFs titled "Review Result". The BA 6th Semester Dance review result came out on September 9, 2026. Each review list shows the new SGPA and CGPA, or "No Change".

• A changed SGPA replaces the earlier figure for that semester.
• "No Change" means the marks stay as first published.
• Students who still have FS courses sit the supplementary exam.
