The online marksheet on the main and NEP portals opens with the seat number printed on the admit card. The steps are the same on both.
- Open result.gujaratuniversity.ac.in or the NEP portal, as per the programme.
- Select the exam name, for example B.Com. Semester 4.
- On the NEP portal, also select the exam month and year.
- Enter the seat number and the captcha code shown on screen.
- Click View Result and download or print the marksheet.
Example: A B.Com. NEP Semester 2 student picks "B.COM. NEP SEM-2" on resultnep.gujaratuniversity.ac.in. The student then chooses the month of the exam and enters the seat number.
How to Read a Result Notification PDF?
Courses on the Other Results page get a notification PDF, not a login page. The student searches the PDF for the seat number. The heading it sits under shows the status.

SGPA is the credit-weighted average of grade points in one semester. Each course's credits are multiplied by its grade point. The total is then divided by total credits.
Example: A student scores A+ (9) in a 4-credit course and B (6) in a 2-credit course. SGPA is (4 x 9 + 2 x 6) / 6, which gives 8.0. CGPA follows the same method across all semesters, using each semester's SGPA and credits.

The pass mark is 36 percent in each head, internal and external, counted separately.

How to Apply for Re-Assessment After the Result?
The university reopens re-assessment on the result portal after each declaration. Students apply online on the same portal used to check the result.
- Open the main or NEP result portal.
- Click the Apply for Re-Assessment button.
- Log in with the seat number and select the papers.
- Pay the fee online and save the receipt.
Important: Students who appeared for an online exam are not eligible for re-assessment.
MBBS and B.Sc. Nursing students use the Apply for Re-Checking option on result3.gujaratuniversity.ac.in instead. The revised marks, if any, show on the same portal.
