How to Check MKBU Result 2026?

The steps below apply to the CBCS portal used by most semester students.

  1. Open the official result page at mkbhavuni.edu.in/mkbhavuniweb/result.php.
  2. Click "Check CBCS Result" to open the CBCS result system.
  3. Check the "Latest Result" list to confirm the course result is out.
  4. Enter the SID in the first box.
  5. Enter the exam seat number in the second box.
  6. Submit the details and view the provisional marksheet.
  7. Use the Print option to save a copy.

Example: A B.C.A. Sem 4 student checks the list first. The course shows a declare date of September 19, 2026. So the result is live. The student then enters the SID and seat number.

Why the MKBU Result Is Not Showing?

Most result problems fall into a few simple cases. Each one has a direct fix.

  • Wrong portal: Yearly and external students get no result on the CBCS portal. They must use the yearly and external portal.
  • Result not declared yet: The course is missing from the latest result list. Students wait for it to appear there.
  • Older result: The CBCS search covers only results declared from June 30, 2026. Older marksheets come from the college or the exam section.
  • Result withheld: A marksheet held under Section 54(3) is released on the withheld marksheet portal.
  • Wrong details: A typo in the SID or seat number returns no record. Students recheck both numbers before submitting.

How to Apply for Reassessment After the MKBU Result?

Students unhappy with their marks can ask the university to recheck the answer sheet. MKBU takes these requests on its online Re-Assessment portal. The rules are listed on the Reassessment Rules and Forms page.

  1. Open the Re-Assessment portal in Chrome or Firefox.
  2. Select the paper to be rechecked.
  3. Pay the reassessment fee online.
  4. Keep the payment receipt until the revised result is out.

The university publishes reassessment results course-wise, the same way as regular results.

Grade Improvement Rules

Grade improvement is a separate option. It lets a student write a theory exam again for better marks. The university sets these rules:

  • The fee is Rs. 2,000, paid to the university.
  • The form goes in within 30 days of the result. The original marksheet and an affidavit go with it.
  • Only students who passed the exam in the first attempt can apply.
  • A student can use it only once, for one semester or one year.
  • The old result is cancelled once the form is accepted. It cannot be restored later.
  • A grade improvement candidate cannot also apply for reassessment.

Important: The improvement attempt counts as a second trial. It can affect eligibility for rank and medals.
