How to Check Sarguja University Result 2026
The result portal shows a date-wise list of every declared result. Each result opens on its own page.
- Open sggcg.in and click Result in the Download section.
- The page opens the date-wise result list for the university.
- Click the exam name, such as N004 - B.A. Fourth Semester (June 2026).
- Enter the User ID and Password of the exam portal Student Login.
- Click Search. The marksheet appears on screen.
- Download or print it and keep a copy for later use.
Example: A B.Sc. Maths Group student in Semester 4 opens exam N014. The result was declared on September 15, 2026.
Each exam name starts with a code. NEP UG courses start with N, such as N002 for B.A. Semester 2. PG courses use three-digit codes, such as 704 for M.Com Semester 4.

Forgot User ID or Password
The login page has a Forget User ID, Password link. Students recover the details from there. The login is the same one used to fill the exam form.
Result Marked WH or Withheld
A result can be held back for reasons such as a missing internal mark. The university later clears these in separate "WH to declare result" lists. One such list came out on September 24, 2026. Students should contact the college first.
Result Not Yet in the List
Results come out course by course. So one course may be out while a friend's course is still pending. Students should check the list again every few days.

Sarguja University Grading System and SGPA Calculation
NEP UG courses in Chhattisgarh follow a 10-point grading scale. Each paper carries 30 percent internal marks and 70 percent end semester marks.

A student needs 40 out of 100 in a 4-credit paper. A 2-credit paper needs 20 out of 50. Internal and end semester marks are added together.
How to Calculate SGPA
Each paper's credits are multiplied by its grade point. These values are added. Then divide by the total credits of the semester.
Example: A student earns 20 credits in a semester. Credit points total 150. So the SGPA is 150 divided by 20, which is 7.5.
NEP Semester Promotion Rules After the Result
The result decides whether a NEP UG student moves to the next year. Odd semesters give direct promotion to the next even semester.
- Semester 2 to 3: at least 50 percent credits of Semester 1 and 2 combined
- Semester 4 to 5: at least 50 percent credits of Semester 3 and 4, plus Semester 1 and 2 fully cleared
- Backlog papers are cleared in the next matching exam, odd with odd and even with even
- A special exam after the Semester 6 result clears backlogs of Semester 5 and 6
Students with a CGPA of 7.5 or above after three years can choose Honours with Research in the fourth year.
How to Apply for Revaluation and Retotaling After the Result
Students unhappy with their marks can apply through the Student Login on sggcg.in. The form sits under Revaluation/Retotaling/Challenge Valuation (NEP).
- Log in with the exam portal User ID and Password.
- Open the revaluation or retotaling form for the exam.
- Select the papers and submit the form with the fee.
- Check the revised result later on the revaluation result page.
The revaluation result page asks for three things. These are the exam code, the type (revaluation or retotaling) and the roll number. Retotaling results for NEP Semester 1 and 3 (December 2025) came out on September 17, 2026.
Deadline: The Special Exam 2026 online form is open from September 21 to September 30, 2026. Eligible backlog students must apply within this window.
