Visa Process for International Students

International applicants need to apply for a student visa to study in the USA. Applicants will require the acceptance letter and I-20 form to apply for a visa.

To be eligible to receive an I-20 from the university, in addition to the academic requirements, you must submit an acceptable certificate of finances.

Winston-Salem State University will start functioning normally on-campus in the Fall semester. International applicants are advised to apply and submit all admission related documents as early as possible since the processing of the same takes time, which further delays the issuing of the I-20 form.
