US Visa Application Process
International students who have applied for a program at the University of Iowa must wait for their offer of admission before they request for the status of US student visa. Upon receiving the offer, students must log in to their MyUI account and access iHawk to upload the necessary financial documents required by the International Students and Scholar Services (ISSS) office.
Once the I-20 form is issued from the University of Iowa, the applicant can visit the nearby US Consulate for their visa appointment and apply for F-1 visa status. International students must request their immigration documents via eShipGlobal through express mail. For this, students need a username and password. Students can request the documents once they have an account using their University of Iowa ID number, mailing address, and other needed information.

It is a public university with a good research background. Especially in healthcare, which matched my experience. Preparation: Self-taught for exams. But I had joined Imperial overseas education for other consultation.

I have obtained a Graduate assistantship in my department. Most students get a similar position. Students can reach out to teachers for RA positions. There is an English exam to qualify for teaching assistantships. That's the only qualification as far as I know.
