Likes

Teaching stuff of our college is very good and they help us to understand things.
The environment of our college campus is very good

Dislikes

Canteen is not too good and small in size
Lift is not working most of the time because of electricity

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose b pharmacy and this is a professional course. This course deals with medicine. After b pharm course a student become a pharmacist and provide medicine to patients.This course also deals with pharmaceutical formulations.

The overall environment is good enough for concentration .
College have good infrastructure as compared to other colleges in the city.

Dislikes

The fees is costly for some of the students.
During summer season the college don’t provide AC .

Placement Experience:

The placements are good with decent packages in well known industries like Cipla, Dabur, Emami, Hetero etc. and if the students don't get the job then also they can studies further like Masters and pharmacy to get higher packages. The students can also get a registration number which can be used to open a pharmacy like retail or wholesale.

Faculties of college are friendly and helping in nature
Classrooms are big, clean and organized and well build

Dislikes

I don't like the Canteen in the campus of our college
I don't like the practical hours of my college though it is important part of our course

Course Curriculum Overview:

Pursue something on medical field made me make my mind to do Bachelor of Pharmacy. Though the world is developing but together the rate of health problems are also increasing tremendously and here pharmacists play a significant role . The area where this course can be improve is by increasing the practical knowledge rather than theory. We have two sessional and one semester exam in the time period of 6 months.

SMCH-The only medical College in Barak Valley .

Facilities: The teacher here are amazing and the campus is beautiful situated in the valley of Barak.

Dislikes

A few drawback of SMCH is it's location as the connectivity is poor with other parts of Assam.
The water facility in hostels are not tht good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is not CBME based education after the introduction of new NMC guidelines.This made the learning more practical based in order to deal with patients.This allows us to face the real life situations with the patients and it's further diagnosis of any diseases.Exams take place thrice every year while the year end exam is considered the main exam for passing a particular year.

This is a better than any other colleges in assam...it is an international college..the study environment is very good.teaching methods also good
The college has a good discipline.all the teachers teach us very wellly...they maintain good discipline and rule regulations also good

There is no anything to dislike this college

Placement Experience:

The college is situated in the capital of the state. There are about five hundred students in the college. In our course we have eight semester. After eight semester student can work as a teacher for experience in the college. Every year they get some good opportunities. Some companies come to the college for placement and they also get job outside the inside of Assam

This college is located in a very beautiful location and there is no communication problem at all....I am having a great learning experience at this institution. The college environment is also hygienic. All facilities are available here for students
Here I am gaining quality education which is helping me to build my confidence and I think it will be very much beneficial for my future..All staff are also cooperative and always helps us whenever we are in need.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is offered..And 100 percentage job security is assured here.After 8 th semester ( completion of four year) you can seat for the campus interview... different reputed companies and institutions give offer for placement and salary package is also good.

There is campus interview at the begni g of the final year. Apollo grp, fostis, si galore govt., japan 70 to80. Percent of people are absorbed before they even completed the course. Towork in a big multi speciality hospital.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course of pharmacy is good we can know about many things about medicines. And I thought a pharmacists have knowledge of 50% of normal MMBs course .Also we have to study very hard in this course to became the best. And we cannot thought of wasting time in this course as we should know about many things. And overall the course is very interesting and very informative. It preciously describe about what happened in patient's body after the medicines are gone inside a human stomach and how can we make organic or homemade drug by using different parts of plants ????. And lastly i would say that it's interesting to become a pharmicsts but in people's mind it's actually not worth looking for it and 90% of the people don't chose pharmacy course but because they have no choice that's why they are there in that.

Review of Silchar Medical College

The faculties are very cooperative, teaching facilities are very good।
The hostels are also well maintained with affordable mess fees

Dislikes

Mess food can be made healthier and water scarcity sometimes
Rooms are small in hostel and very little space

Placement Experience:

The course is of four and half years, and after that one year of internship is provided by the college. This is a medical College so no specific companies come for placing offering placement. Students getting 100 Percent placements in our own campus
