CMR University (CMRU), Bangalore students experience a significant number of placement offers to be made by top recruiting companies. This University ranks 100th for its MBA program amongst the top private colleges in India by Outlook Magazine 2000. The institute is conducting its placement drive for the batch 2022 and a total of 630 offers were made. The highest package stood at INR 30 LPA and the average package stood at INR 6.5 LPA.
This year during CMR University Placements the campus witnessed the highest CTC offer of INR 8 LPA & INR 3.52 LPA to be offered to them. 115 placements were made by 151 participating recruiting companies. 30% new Recruiters visited the campus this year and participated in the placements process.
BYJU’s, ThomsonReuters India Pvt. Ltd., ANZ India, Deloitte India Pvt. Ltd. etc were the top recruiting companies.

During CMR University Placements 2021, the batch witnessed 115 offers made by 151 companies which participated in the placement drive. A total of 90 new recruiters (30%) participated in the process. Out of 600 enrolled students in the batch 306 students participated in the placement drive.
The highest CTC of INR 8 LPA & the average CTC of INR 3.52 LPA were offered at CMR Placements 2021. Students from various domains like Humanities, Social Sciences, Economics, Management, Pure Science & Commerce etc were offered. The top recruiting sector was the Services sector this year.

INR 3.5 LPA was offered to the B.Com & M.Com students & INR 3 LPA was offered to the BA students.

The MBA students were offered the package of INR 6 LPA in 2020 & INR 6.5 LPA in 2021. The MSW students were the package of INR 3.8 LPA in 2020 & INR 5.5 LPA in 2021. The M.Sc in Psychology ( Clinical) students were offered the package of INR 4.1 LPA in 2020 & INR 4.5 LPA in 2021. INR 3.8 LPA was offered to the M.Sc in Psychology (HRDM) students in the year 2020 that increased to INR 4 LPA in the year 2021. Lastly, The M.Com students were offered the Package of INR 3 LPA in 2020 & INR 3.5 LPA in the year 2021.

- I liked about the campus environment and activities ar cool
- The sports activities are good and college services are good
Dislikes
- Accomodation and hostels are good but not worthful
- Too strict campus to survive and we can live by it
Placement Experience:
After 5th sem the students become eligible for placements the most of the companies visit the college and 75 % of the students are getting placed and average learners will be placed and it can be done.
Likes
- Campus life was pretty good along with friends
- Placements were done thoroughly with several companies
Dislikes
- Not a lot of facilities like auditoriums
- Its pretty isolated which disables one from finding nearby spots
Placement Experience:
Placements are pretty good as they offer 100% placement rate for all students. However the LPA is on the lesser side as the average is about 4-5 lakhs. Only some students get packages above 10-11 lakhs
Likes
- It's away from the city so it's peaceful and the nature around it is also quite good.
- To be honest it's not tat strict so we have our personal time which we can concentrate on our growth
Dislikes
- The faculty are not tat great...u have to be prepared for self learning.
- As i said the teachers are not strict so if ur not determined u might waste most of the time
Placement Experience:
There are many rumors and im not sure which is true. But i think this year placement were pretty low coz of the inflation. but I know few who got legit placements. Last year someone got 18lpa, but according to another rumor he was fired in the first 6 months not sure. but he did get 18lpa package I plan to prepare for campus placement very soon. I don't have any hopes of on campus but would be happy to see how it is in future

- Campus is vast and beautiful to look at the baglur campus is huge
- Very often different events keep popping up
Dislikes
- Shortage in faculty members leads to online classes .
- Not allowed to sit post classes in class even for few minutes
Placement Experience:
There is placements offer provided by the college which includes having no backlogs in any semister . There is an entire department for placements. They do provide placements at startup comapnies and reffral based with the starting package of 3 lack per annum .
Likes
- The college environment and the surrounding feels like it’s far from the city which makes it peaceful
- The entire college life isn’t stressful feels very easy going
Dislikes
- Distance from the nearest bus stop and the college is around a kilometer which one needs to walk every morning sometimes isn’t as easy
- People don’t easily participate in events and feels like you were there for nothing
Placement Experience:
The college curriculum prepares you well for placenta every semester you'll have different courses that will help you with placements just as soft skills , personal effectiveness , placement assistance training and many more that will help and nurture you for the interviews. The college focuses on these courses very well . There are internships available from 2nd semester and placements are available from 6th semester , Cmru students also visit Cmrit campus for placement which is a plus point . There are many good companies that visit cmrit . While cmru is a newly established university it's good to say that placement oppression are not bad . Average package is around 4.5 . My plans after getting a degree is to set up a product like or do my masters

- The canteen of our college is good and it's of two floor
- The teachers are good and explain things very well.
Dislikes
- The hostel food is bad and the washrooms are dirty .
- The social/campus life in college is too boring.
Placement Experience:
Students after 6th sem can sit for placements but they all should have cgpa above atleast 8. Companies like Wipro, ibm, Accenture, cognizant have visited. The highest package this year was given by a Japanese company of 26 lakhs. The average package is 4,50,000. Almost 80% students get placed. Many companies do mass recruitment.

- Campus is quite beautiful with lots of trees with canteen providing delicious nutritional food
- Teaching staff is extremely friendly and cooperative
Dislikes
- Campus is a little small compared to other colleges
- Classes and events go on simultaneously sometimes
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Companies like Zenken, Amazon, Capgemini,Dell, TCS, Wipro visit CMRIT. Highest package offered is by Zenken around 25,00,000 rupees per annum. Other than that average package is around 7,00,000 rupees
Likes
- The campus is very peaceful and clam, there is no much fights also.
- The attendance criteria is good in our college its not too strict.
Dislikes
- As said the campus is very compact and small
- The hostel and canteen food is bad sometimes unhygienic.
Placement Experience:
in our college the placements are from 3rd year and the training starts from the very 1st year. we have a few good companies who come to recruite in our college but they take only a few of the students. Now many students are intested in Startups so palcements isnt that of a problem.
Likes
- The college canteen is good and it looks good too. We have two floors canteen- one in ground floor and one in first floor. The food is okayish.
- The location was the main reason to choose this college. It is in ITPL road surrounded by alot of IT companies thereby increasing your approach to get internships.
Dislikes
- The campus is too small. It is just like about 6-7 acres . The parking lot is huge but the college ain't.. The infrastructure ain't good.
- They don't support cultural activities at all. The fest happens once in a year and that is it. They don't give us money or sponser us . Neither dance, music, acting etc nothing they help us out
Placement Experience:
In our college, placement training starts from second year itself . But the major placements start from 3rd year 6th sem . We need to have atleast a cgpa of 8 to be eligible. Companies like Wipro,TCS, Accenture, Infosys do visit our companies. Last time the highest Package was 25 lakhs. This year it is 29 lakhs offered by a Japanese company. Our placement percent is 60% approx.
Likes
- The well experienced lectures, they will really help us in our academics as well as our placement. Apart from academics we even have lot of things to explore as we participate in lots of sports and non other cultural activities.
- We have canteen, where every food is provided with reasonable prices, we even have a basket ball court, volleyball courts where students used to play games.
Dislikes
- We are having a small college campus of approximately 8 to 9 acres
- The hostel fees was very high, they even charge more from the students.
Placement Experience:
The placement was good,as I heard that there were lots of placement opportunities in past 3 years but this year our college students got less placed, but the lectures will train us to face the placement very easily.
