The courses offered by PES University are more or less similar to the courses offered by other universities too. But here at PESU, the curriculum differs, which is mostly application-oriented, which attracts many students towards it. This method of teaching improves the industrial and work knowledge of the students. The faculty to student ratio is 1:20. Most of the faculty here are phd holders and few of them pursuing their phd. The Examination system at PESU is very systematic. The students are given Internal Assesments every 2 weeks once, based on the syllabus completed in the previous weeks. After the completion of Internal assessments, Students have a Final examination.
I had an interest in machines, motors and the craze of it working so chose this branch. Faculty were highly qualified and relationship with students was good. As I said it's one of the renowned colleges it includes some great PhD holders faculty and other high qualifications too. Exams were conducted semester wise and internal were medium-level difficulty
I choose these courses. Because I want to open my own car production company. So I chose these courses. Our class consists of 60 members. all faculty is good. And they teach were well. But sometimes I can't understand what they are teaching.
The reason I choose this course was it was my ambition to be a mechanical engineer. The faculty ratio to student ratio is well maintained and the faculty members are well qualified as they are the minimum of masters required to be a faculty in our institution the teaching method is pretty good they teach us through slides and they explain practical applications easily and the doubt clarifications from the faculty are very good and every two weeks the internals take place which was a hectic and semesters exam are conducted after 5 months of semester completion the internals are kind of burden.
I chose the mechanical field because of my interest, and in our college faculty members. and staff are also friendly, they will lead us in college, totally good college this is that's it, the good infrastructure we have, good staff then what we need.
Exams were conducted very quickly. Sem was completed in 3months when I joined but now each sem completes in four and half months. I chose mechanical because I was weak in computers. The faculty-student ratio is quite good but there are many students. The qualification of teachers is Mtech teaching method is good.
The faculty of mechanical engineering is good, most of them have PhD and doctorates, not know of the other department's faculty, mechanical is pretty good, the core subjects they teach are good, student to teacher ratio is also good
Ratio of faculty to student ratio is bout 1:40 nd staffs are very supportive Factually are very helpful nd good, most of them are PhD holders Exams are intellectual based and they are planed nd executed in right time
I basically chose this course because that was the only one left in PES and Mech from PES is probably the best you can get in Bangalore. Student to faculty ratio would be somewhere around 1:10. The teaching method is almost the same as all other colleges and it will depend on your teacher how he approaches the subject. Some teachers are highly qualified. For eg. I had a Physics teacher in 1st year who was a PhD holder from IISc and now he is doing Post Doctoral Studies in Ethiopia. Exams are conducted every month in the form of Internal Assessments. They have weightage in your final semester aggregate. The exams are generally moderate to difficult.
