The college is in close proximity to Kolkata. Connectivity to home is very good. The college is new so there are no seniors so there is no chances of getting pressure from above.
The faculties are very good. They are very much helpful and are polite. They also help in studies and in the extra curricular activities.

Dislikes

The college is located in the area where basic facilities are absent. We have to go to Kolkata to get the basic needs. We have to buy things from far.
As the college is new, there are no seniors. So we have to face lots of diificults too as there is no one to guide you. Seniors helps you to get an idea about how to study and pass the exams..

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very noble. It gives us the power to heal others. When I was a child, i was impressed by the ability and skills of a doctor. The patient family were treating him like god. So i decided to pursue it because of the amount of respect and wealth we gain. In the real world it helps us to become a good person, interact with the injured society and connect to the people emotionally. Teaching methods could be improved by giving more and more real life examples and exposing to the wards and clinics. Learning is more fun when we do more practicals. The college must ensure that more and more practical classes and clinical exposure is given to the students so that they can learn effeciently. The cases of the cirriculum should be given to the students to look how they handle it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum focusses on both theory as well as practical classes for better understanding of the Students. The exams are regular and timely held. Proper attention is paid to the performance of the students by small viva and internal exams. The difficulty level of the exam is also such that the students can cope with up. Questions come from all that is taught in the class and the concepts are kept very clear.

Faculty is good for almost all non clinical subjects and classes are regular so it's good thing today as many colleges have the problem of inadequate faculty.
Since there are only 100 students so we can easily get access to teachers and laboratories which is sometimes difficult in case of bigger batches

Dislikes

Being a govt college infrastructure is very poor. Although the new campus is being built but present condition is worse

I always aspired to become a doctor. Though mbbs is very tough. It demands your time, dedication, hard work, sleep, and everything. But in the end, it is worth everything. It prepares an individual to tackle the pressure and difficulties we face when we practice medicine. There is always a scope for improvement. I would suggest that something should be done to decrease the mental fatigue and depression cases which are increasing day by day In medical colleges leading to suicides. There should be counselling from time to time to assess the mental, physical, and social state of the person Internal exams occur in every 3-4 months and university exams occur at the end of the year as per nmc and university schedule. The exams are pretty tough as it's a professional exams and are according to the nmc guidelines.

Our college campus is separated from the hospital which is of a great advantage towards cleanliness . Faculties are good . Seniors are very helpful and friendly
The biggest med fest of eastern india AGON is held here . It's so much fun . There is a lot of extra curricular activities apart from studies. This type of college life is totally worth it .

Dislikes

A little bit of washroom issues are there but it's manageable

Yeah it's a very long process ... But it's worth it . When we have the Dr. tag in front of our names . Although it's very difficult course .. needs a lot of hardwork and patience but after solving the problems of any patient that feeling is really great to experience.

Lecturer theatre can be more modernization occur. More teachers are required as compare to central college here is less faculty. Exam are occur thrice a year , one university exam occurs every year where we have to get 50% to pass

As we are first batch of RGMCH teachers were very supportive to us
The new college campus is too good ... especially the lecture theatres , auditorium, playground .... Different canteens at different buildings (boys, girl's, and academic)

Dislikes

The distance from the campus to the hospital is around 3-4 km....which is difficult to manage... although college provide bus for students in college hours
Connectivity to the main road is bad.... No proper road is there to connect it with the highway..... The weather is too harsh here , i.e too hot in summer (40-42°c) and too cold in winter (4-5°c)

The curriculum was good, curriculum maintained properly We learned a lot of things like patient managing, patient party counselling. one very interesting thing is our college have the skills lab and all the maniquine are in good condition and well maintained. teachers are always there to teach
