Dislikes

Bad sports infrastructure. No ground in sector-62 campus
No hostel in sector 128 campus. Students of 128 campus has to travel daily from hostel

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is good. College Curriculum is similar to some iiits because it is also a information technology college. We have 3 exams each semester i.e T1,T2,T3. T3 is considered to be end sem examination.

Campus is of 125 acre and full of greenery
Best part about campus is that the infrastructure is very good

There is no educational coaching or support outside the college

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course was that everyone I knew was taking computer science. The areas for improvement in the course curriculum should be that they should remove the unnecessary subjects like physics and chemistry and how will they help a CSE student. They take exams 3 times a semester which is almost after every month.

College life for an student

Facilities was good . All the faculty was so helpful and they the placement cell was also so helpful

The course was a little bit tough. The difficulty was the examination that has been examined. There was an exam for every month. That was the most challenging part. And the evaluation was tough. Many of the students has been failed to pass the examinations.

Discipline is very good of the colleg, everything goes as per the schedule
Hassle free life, everything goes in flow.

Placement is not upto the mark , specially for biotech
Extracurricular activity are very less or zero in a year

Infrastructure and ranking influenced my decision to choose this college. Not much of the curriculum prepares you for real-world applications. Practical teaching should be improved. There are 3 exams in a semester.

campus is beautiful . you will find everything
like gym , swimming pool , gaming area etc

you dont get free time for yourself they keep you busy
there are exams three times per semester

course curriculum is well designed but hectic it keeps you busy all the time you dont get time to focus on stuff of your interest . exams occur in three partitions t1,2,3 and their combined marks are taken to calculate cgpa

Overall a good college for dedicated one's

Enviornment of the college is surreal it is situated in the lap of Himalayas and the weather there is always pleasant. Minimal amount of heat in the summer season and near to Shimla and Chandigarh for connectivity.
Hostel is good and the hostel amenities are better than expected.

Management is old style and the college professors have also been old style.
They bother for every small details and there is fine for everything which .

The course curriculum is fine but they have to change the way of conducting major projects and they rely much on theoretical knowledge as compared to the practical one . An exchange program in the final semester with the university of Florida is also there which is very helpful for students.

1st year in College.

Overall I liked the atmosphere of the college.
One thing I like most is the hostel where I stay with my friends which have become my family now.

The small campus which I don't like about our college.
The timings for the girls hostel are very strict as they cannot enter out of their hostels after 10 pm in night.

The course curriculum we follow is also like any other colleges who are providing same course. But the only thing which can be improved is some courses should not be compulsory for 1st Year students like a CS student is studying the course of wood cutting, iron welding etc which I think is unnecessary for his career.

Review of Biotechnology in JIIT Noida

Hands-on Lab experience is good and relevant

Very poor exam conducting structure. Too many exams per semester
Very poor placement opportunities for Biotechnology

Biotech is an upcoming field which has gained momentum in the recent years and has a lot of scope. Talking about biotechnology the course initially is very ECE cs oriented making exposure to the world of biotech a bit limited but the subjects become more biotech oriented from the 4th semester. The questions that are asked in the paper are mostly discussed in the class so if you are regular and attentive scoring is not an issue. The faculties are very accomplished in their fields with multiple awards and publications. There is no shortage of faculty. There is no problem of Faculties not taking classes. Classes are punctually taken.

The academic is good new vice chancellor had joined the rhe University who is much focused towards academic

The University is situated in rural area
Sports scope is less no swimming pool and other facility but it is on way

The curriculum is not much good there are sibjects like bio chemistry mechanics evs in first and second year and subject like traditional knowledge which is not important in aspect of engineering there must coding subject from staring semester.
