Galgotias University MBA Selection Process

Admission will be based on GU MAT and interviews conducted by Galgotia University.

Suitable candidates will be called for a written test (GU MAT).
Shortlisted candidates based on their GU MAT score and CAT/MAT qualified applicants will be called for an interview.
Qualified candidates for interview will be invited for document verification.

GU MAT Entrance Test

GU MAT (Galgotias University Management Aptitude Test) is a state-level exam conducted by Galgotias University School of Business. The exam is held for admission to the MBA (Master of Business Administration) program.
Candidates have to appear for the examination in offline mode (pen and paper-based).
The question paper consists of three sections i.e. Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills and Basic Aptitude.
Each section carries 30 questions, all the questions are in MCQ format (Multiple Choice Questions). Each question carries one mark. There is no provision of negative marking.
The duration of the exam is 90 Minutes.

There is only one problem university main campus is very long distance from the main Market University situated in the corner of greater Noida this is Main thing students are dislikes every student not take the hostel opportunity In the college.

Infrastructure is amazing. Faculty is very experienced.

Location of the university is not good. It is situated in an isolated place.

Course curriculum is quite impressive. It is similar to leading business schools in India. Course Curriculum includes case studies, presentations, role play etc. University has student centeric approach.

My honest review about my university

Faculty is good and comes with 10+ years of experience.

Location is a problem here. It is situated in a isolated place.

So the course curriculum is good but the problem is with the time. Due to delayed commencement of classes we usually have to suffer with lack of time. You have to give 2 internals with one mid term and then the semester end exam within the span of approximate 4 months which make it really difficult to cope up with it without any stress.

University has minor management issues because it has too much crowd.

Curriculum is very much relevant to industry. University opts for active learning approach. There are different activities like presentations, role play and projects to teach students effectively. There are industrial visits also.

Good faculties and infrastructure

Faculty:Teachers are so helpful,qualified and well educated.They made class interactive and support the students wherever they need.They develop our skills and and leadership qualities through teamwork.
Infrastructure is Excellent with proper facilities like air conditioning in the classroom,cafeteria and dining facilties.wifi is also available as well proper library for the students is also available.

Cafeteria is good but don't eat everyday because it is little bit oily which would effect your health.

I choose this course because I want to explore and want to go in finance field. It would improve my skills as as well as leadership qualities.It is not overcrowded as compare to bt.ech course so there is more chances for an individual to get a placement easily

1. Overlapping Syllabus: Some subjects in the curriculum overlap with what is taught in 10th and 12th grade, offering limited value addition.
2. Limited Focus on Aptitude Exams: While GU does not focus much on aptitude exams, the minimum cut-off requirement for these exams is still 50%, which could be challenging for some students.

Admission process at GU begins with the profile shortlisting followed by an interview round. GU doesn't focus much on aptitude exams, but the minimum cut-off is 50%. For 10th, 12th, and graduation, the minimum cut-off is 60%. The application form and details are available on the GU website. There is an application fee, and the application dates are usually announced well in advance. Reservation benefits are available as per government norms. The CAT exam is challenging but manageable with proper preparation. GU also considers work experience, giving preference to candidates with relevant industry exposure. Admission to BCA course at GU Greater Noida is done based on entrance exam conducted by the University itself and you must have passed 12^th with 50% or more to be eligible for the same.However, the entrance exam date hasn’t been released yet.

Yes, Galgotias University conducts an entrance test for admission to its Ph.D programs. However, students who have qualified for NET/JRF/SLET/GATE/Teacher Fellowship Holder or have passed M.Phil are exempted from appearing in the entrance test conducted by the university and can directly appear in the personal interview.
