Vels University Scholarship: Eligibility, Amount & Details
Vels Institute of Science Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS), Pallavaram Chennai conducts V-SAT 2024, a scholarship admission test to offer 100% scholarships to more than 1000 students to pursue their undergraduate program at their campus.
V-SAT 2024 will be conducted in an online mode from April 15, 2024 to April 22, 2024.
The results of VSAT 20204 will be published on their website and can be accessed through the link http://www.velsuniv.ac.in/
Other than scholarships based on V-SAT 2024, Vels University also offers scholarships such as Merit Scholarships, First Graduate Scholarships, Artist Associations Scholarships, Ex-Servicemen Scholarships, Sports Scholarships & Alumni Scholarships.

Vels University Scholarship for MBA Programs
For a minimum aggregate score of 60% and above in the qualifying degree and a pass in VELS Entrance Examination (VEE) 10% scholarship in the Tuition fee for the 1 year only

Vels University Scholarship for Law Courses
For BA.LLB courses: Qualifying in VEE - 10% scholarship in the Tuition fee for the 1 year (2 semesters alone) only
Vels University Alumni Scholarship
10% scholarship is granted to a UG student who will be taking admission to PG course offered at the university.
Vels University Scholarship for Sports Quota
For All Programs: 100% Tuition fee Concession and free Hostel accommodation.
Vels School Students
25% scholarship for all UG Courses for the 1 year (2 Semesters alone) only
Merit Scholarships for First Rank Holders
The first rank in each program in end-semester examinations shall be awarded merit scholarships. Final semester excluded
- 1st rank - 25% tuition fees in that semester, No cash will be paid and it will be adjusted in Tuition fees
B.E(E.E.E/E.C.E/C.S.E/AUTOMOBILE/BIOTECH/BIOMEDICAL/Mech/CIVIL/PETROLEUM/NAVAL ARCHITECTURE/MECHATRONICS/IT):
- Above 90% in (+2) - 25% scholarship for 4 years.
- Above 80% in (+2) - 25% scholarship for 1 year.
B.Tech (IT):
- Above 90% in (+2) - 10% scholarship for 4 years.
- Above 80% in (+2) - 10% scholarship for 1 year.

The year fees is 1,03,000 for BCA(bachelor of computer application) per semester 51,500 And other then courses it may defer than this And also I want to tell that they have conducting the training session for us in the 2nd year itself about course related because of let us know about it detail about this

I was paying 47000 in the odd semester and 45000 in the even semester. But the actual fees was 57000 in the odd semester and 55000 in the even semester. I was applying scholorship so i got discount in the fees structure.i was joined before the 12th result. Because i heared that my university was so good. Some of the students had differing fees structure

- Very greenish campus with lots of plants and etc

- Canteen food was good not great its kinda average
- Campus gets real rush when everyone is leaving the campus

I'm paying about 1lakh per year for my course and it's is pretty reasonable for studies they provide and etc there isn't any lab fee or anything I guess yea but there are discounts for St And SC etc they have many scholarship programs and etc which does gives a discount in fees

The year wise fees we paid 50000 and we paid the tuition fees , caution fees, lab fees, development fees including on 50000. Also our fees get differ based on our course. Yearly fees is absolutely get increased.

- Our university has a nice quality of the infrastructure including campus and learning facilities.faculties teaching method are very unique and understandable.we enjoy every classes of the faculty members

- Some students issue with the faculty and when events are conducted by the college always get a problem.convey delay the information to the students who are interested and sometimes they doesn't convey anything

As a student, my yearly fee structure includes: tution fees 60000 , registration fee 2000 and admission fee 100 (one time) some of my friends sc and st pay reduced fees of some amount and 5% of fee increase each year

In my point of view there is slightly fees amounts are increasing year wise and it is value for us in academic activities.it is worth able to study and for my department the fees charges are only 21,450 per semester.

- Faculties are in friendly nature as they make us to learn and understand the subjects

- Play Ground should be maintained in the college

They charge 2 lakhs per annum.As they collect 1lakh per semester.They offer first graduate scholarship for the students who' are first graduate in their family.theh offer 10 percent concession In their semester fees.

- The faculty members are very excellent in teaching and they provide a virtual learning environment in effective manner
- This institution makes you learn practically and develops good nurturing
Dislikes
- The college timing of 9:30am to 3.00pm. They said that the college timing will be only half a day while I'm joining to this ...but then they changed the timing as 3.00pm
- I don't like the rules of this institution which we have to get signed from both the faculty of HOD and the concern class teacher while you are taking permission during the class hours
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The yearly fees was nearly 60,000 only. You can also pay by dividing the amount like for example, you can pay the half payment that is the first semester fee alone first and then you can pay the next semester amount by next turn. So you have to pay the ; Tution fees : Rs .60000 Admission fee:Rs. 250 And all the other fees (registration fee, lab fee, other compulsory fees were included in the tution fee ) There is a concession for the alumini of this collage . There will be a percentage of concession hich will be reduced in the current semester
