BDS at Annamalai University is offered through the Faculty of Dentistry at Rajah Muthiah Dental College & Hospital. The duration of the BDS program is 5 years including a mandatory internship. Annamalai University admission 2024 will be based on NEET UG scores followed by counselling.

Annamalai University BDS Eligibility
In order to be eligible for BDS admission at Annamalai University, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- Must have passed the 10+2 examination from the recognized board with a minimum of 50% (40% for SC/ST/OBC) of marks.
- Must have Physics, Chemistry Biology (PCB) subjects in their last qualifying examination
- Must have appeared in the NEET-UG with minimum scores.

Annamalai University BDS Admission Criteria
Admission to the BDS course is offered based on scores/ rank obtained in the NEET UG examination. Students are required to register themselves for counselling conducted by the Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu.

- Login to https://tnmedicalselection.net/ or https://tnhealth.tn.gov.in/ to apply.
- Mention the general details like name, mobile number, educational qualifications and so on.
- Upload asked documents like photograph, signature and the previous qualifying mark sheets
- Select the college and course from the available alternatives
- Make sure that all the information mentioned in the form is correct
- Make the payment of the application form and take out the print of the form for future purpose
- After the allocation of the institute visits the campus to complete the further admission procedure.

- Post Matric Scholarship
- Eligible students from SC/SCA/ST categories whose parental annual income is less than INR 2,50,000/ while SC/SCA converted Christians whose parental annual income is less than INR 2,00,000. Students are required to show the income certificate to avail of the scholarship.
- Higher Education Special Scholarship
- This is specifically for hostel students belonging to SC / SCA / ST and Converted Christian categories whose family income is less than INR INR 2,00,000.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I got this course as I didn't fetch a medical seat. The faculty ratio is so good that they've arranged specific mentors for three students each to take care of them teaching-wise, The practical sessions are so good and very practical. And the teachers assist us with every single process beforehand.

I like dentistry and there are a lot of lecturers with more number postgraduate degrees in various departments the term exam will be very fast and it is medium to pass because it is an autonomous college.
Fee Structure And Facilities:
The fee structure is as follows: Tuition fee- First year 2,50,000 Second year 2,50,000 Third year 2,50,000 Fourth year 2,50,000 Fifth year 2,50,000 Thus the total fee for the entire programme is Rs 12,50,000 which is quite expensive.
