In college all the teachings are mainly based on practical application rather than theoretical knowledge. Students are encouraged to do mini projects to apply their ideas to reality based on what they have learned. The examinations are quite hard to maintain the standard of the students for which they will help you prepare

As far as mechanical engineering is concerned, a new course named FUNDAMENTALS OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING was introduced in 2021 in the curriculum of 2nd semester which provides an introduction to the course and also allows to learn mechanisms by the method of dismantling the machine and learning everything part by part. This particular was prepared by yhe faculty members of the Mechanical Department and this course is only available in SSN.

The reason for me choosing Mechanical is that i wanted to achieve something in aerospace and science. But after joining, the dreams faded and i reaised which suits for me and i was looking for managing roles which is more apt for me than engineering.

The course curriculum in our college is updated for every two years once. The course curriculum is updated based on the current trend. So it is very excellent and very useful. The course offered is mainly based on the industry's current requirement, so it is very much useful for our placements.

Curriculum helps us to link the syllabus portion with the real life by the examples that are taught by respective staff. The syllabus portions are framed according to the real life applications. Many kind of clubs and forums have been initialised to enhance the skills and knowledge of the students. For Mechanical Engineering students, the portions are framed from the fundamentals and basics of machines electric drives and softwares too. Implementation of our learning in day today life will be trained very well by our own acceptance and interest. The improvements to be done on scheduling the exams time period. Many practical sessions to be done for ment of learning and understanding of the students.

*I choosed Mechanical engineering department because it's my passion. * The teaching is well and there also some value added courses conducted by the college management which increases my resume weightage. *More theory classes are going on. There should be some practicals also they have improve the teaching methods in labs. * Moreover labs are conducted just one week before the final exams it puts lots of pressure to attend the exam.
