As my course consists of both computer and electrical branches with make it tough to study but mnit has organised the curriculum very well as in the first year you with get extra classes for your course subjects which makes it less burden in the upcoming semester

In one semester there are two main Examination one is Midterm and another is Endterm.Midterm is 30 marks and Endterm is 50marks and other 20marks Evaluted on the basis of class test And Assignment and percentage of persent . Midterm is quite Easy As compare to End term . Difficulty level of Midterm is Easy and Endterm difficulty level is Moderate to Difficult

The curriculum is good and as per the NEP but some subjects and topics taught are obsolete The curriculum needs to be more real life oriented and practical oriented and the obsolete topics need to be discarded

I would say, it's okish. We still have subject like engineering drawing in the era of cad.you will get the theoritical knowledge more than the practical knowledge.your day will be burned in classes only and you will not get enough extra time apart from that.

Though Electronics was a small part of our intermediate syllabus it felt interesting and digital electronics made me choose this course. The difficulty level of exams is moderate and the timings would be same as mentioned in the academic calendar which is released just before the start of a semester.

My course is Electronics and Communication which I chose under the influence of a 12th Physics chapter named Semiconductors, However when I came to college-level teaching, it was a lot different than what I had expected, Any branch teaching wouldn't prepare you perfectly for the real-world applications You would have to do it yourself by either doing internships for learning it yourself. Exams are held twice a semester. One being Mid Terms and the Other being End Terms.

I had no idea about this course when I choosed it. But I regret now because almost 90% job of ece branch is in IT sector and due to AI and recession , the percentage of placed student is reduced. You can imagine , in 2022 98% student is placed in campus placement who is elligible but in this year this is only 47%. Professors teach us outdated course which is not usefull in this era of AI. I think , college can improve by reduce class strength and update course curriculum. Professor teachs us on slide , I think that they should teach us on black board or smart board.

The curriculum's emphasis on core electronics concepts and advanced topics like signal processing influenced my decision to choose ECE at MNIT Jaipur. The curriculum effectively integrates theory with practical applications, providing a strong foundation for both industry roles and further academic pursuits. Improvement areas include integrating more core projects and professor's Teaching skills need to be improved. Exams frequency and timing are generally manageable(mid-term 1.5 hours and end-term 2.5 hrs in each semester), but addressing varying difficulty levels through consistent support mechanisms could enhance student performance. schedule of classes is very strict in ECE as compare to others branches, it's help student to improve their daily routine and learn proper management.

Here thd electronics and Communication course is focused on practical learning. You will get a significant amount of labs where you build circuits and make simulation on computer with updated syllabus. Through this course you will be ready to solve most amazing circuit problem, image processing, vision design .These all are demanding sector which also pays you a good sum of money. Some course are really difficult so authorities can make it a bit flexible and easy.Ws have quiz, mid terms and end term exam.Majority of the time the exams are moderate but some time it is tough.

Course is pretty good & yes difficult too but it opens many options for you in future & this was best option according to my jee rank. Yes they focus on both practical and theoretical knowledge. They should not teach core subject in the first year as it really gets difficult for them to study.
This query hints that you are not inclined towards a particular branch. Instead, you wish to opt for the best option as per your ranking.
As per placements-
Based on the average package, I would recommend you opt for either MNIT Jaipur ECE or MANIT Bhopal CSE. MANIT Bhopal is a good option for B.Tech CSE. You’ll have good placement prospects as a CSE student at this college. Do consult some seniors from all these colleges/branches to make a more informed choice.
IIIT Allahabad and MNIT Jaipur are institutes of national importance. But if you like coding, it's not wise to search for options in ECE. ECE is a hardware-related program dealing with communication, whereas CS deals with software.
For the NIT tag, you can choose SVNIT. Among the IIITs, the best will be IIIT Bangalore ad it provides the best research opportunities. But, the best choice as per your interest is B.Tech Hons. Computational Sciences from DA-IICT.
The reasons are below.
The fee and placement of DA-IICT are as follows.
Tuition Fee |
7.28 Lakhs |
Average Package |
10.16 LPA |
Highest Package |
39.3 LPA |
Overall, DA-IICT is worth joining for the CS program. It will reap excellent results.
