About LNIPE
Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE) was established in August 1957 in memory of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi by the Ministry of Education and Culture, Government of India. It is a deemed university under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. The institute promotes excellence in sports and physical education with its vast range of courses under UG, PG, PGDM, and Ph.D. categories.
Admission to LNIPE is strictly based on the merit obtained in the Entrance Test. The Entrance Test consists of a written test followed by a physical test and then the medical examination. Applications for admission are to be made online. Seats are reserved for SC, ST and OBC candidates. The candidates who have represented India in any international championship will be granted direct admission if the representation shall be in such games/sports which are approved by AIU.

Admission in Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education is based on the merit obtained by the applicant in the entrance test conducted by the institute. The college is a government-funded institute and has the provision of providing a scholarship to the students with extraordinary abilities. The top ten meritorious students of every semester in every course get a scholarship wherein their fees for the entire semester is refunded. The placement cell of the Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education is quite active. To take admission in this institute you have to fill the cuet form and should opt for physical education subject and select this college. After giving your cuet exam the college conducts physical and skill test in their respective campuses . The notice is provided in the college website. You have to then qualify for the physical test in order to give skill test. Skill test is given in one sports you are good at in order to get good marks. Before it used to be All India Level Entrance Exams Which Included Written, Physical and Skill test also certificates of you game were important. There were only 2 centres Gwalior And Guwahati. Now Entrance Examination are Conducted under CUET Reservation benefits are there in seats for SC- 15% For ST- 7.5% For OBC- 27% EWS- 10%

The admission process is good overall We gave a written exam about physical education and then physical exam of 4 event 1000 m running braud jump ,medicine ball throw, 50 m dash and skill test in which we show our skills related to our games they one thing is not good that they charges us if it if we get late to submit the fees like hundred rupees everyday and after 5 days it become 3000 4000

Bench mark to qualify and last one is skill test where you have to show your skills from which marks are given. The difficulty level is high as only 200 students are selected including both girls and boys.

The Institute offers both Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Physical Education, MA in Yoga, Ph.D. in Physical Education and Yoga, and diploma and postgraduate diploma courses under various specializations in Physical Education. Admission to such courses at LNIPE is done strictly based on the merit secured in the Entrance Test followed by a Physical Test and then the Medical Examination conducted by the institute. Admission into the B.P.Ed at LNIPE is done based on merit, on the basis of Marks (Merit) obtained in the Entrance Test as per the policy of the Institute. Candidates must have passed the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) or Intermediate/equivalent examination from any recognized Education Board/University, etc. with at least 50% marks for General and OBC categories. 45% marks for SC/ ST category and also for candidates who have participated in International/ National/ Inter-University/ School Nationals Games (SGFI) in Sports Competitions or position holders of Inter-Zonal University Games/ Sports. The maximum age of the candidate shall be 21 years which shall be further relaxable up to 3 years for OBC Candidates and 5 years for SC, ST Candidates as per the rules of the Government of India
