The fee is feasible. Being a government Institute, I knew that the fees would be low but, it was surpisely lower than my expectation. So, one does not need to be concerned about the fees amount that is on yearly basis.

What are the courses available in NIMHANS for an MBBS doctor?

One of my cousins graduated from NIMHANS and according to him, here are the courses available for an MBBS doctor in NIMHANS.
- MCh in Neurosurgery
- DM in Neurology
- MD in Psychiatry
- Fellowship in Psychiatric Rehabilitation
- Ph.D. in Clinical Neurosciences
- M.Phil in Neurosciences
- Ph.D. in Neurophysiology
- M.Phil in Neurophysiology
- M.Phil in Biophysics
If you are interested in research you can choose Ph.D. in Clinical Neurosciences or Ph.D. in Psychiatry. There is a direct entry after MBBS for MCh in Neurosurgery apart from DM in Neurology and MD in Psychiatry.

- Intake : 6 seats
- Eligibility : Pass in Two-year Pre-University examination or equivalent with a Science group having secured an aggregate of 45% in Science subjects.
BSc in Radiography:
- Intake : 10 (4 for sponsored) (5 seats reserved for Post Diploma candidates)
- Duration : 3 years.
- Eligibility : Pre-University examination conducted by the Department of Pre-University Education or any recognized State Board with English and Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics as optional subjects with 45% aggregate.
