Mainly geography influences me. Using its application in real-world problems. We are using software like ArcGIS and solving the problems using the applications of geography. Personal laptops are necessary as the lab does not provide a large number of desktops to the students which has to be improved. The exams are easy if students are regular in the Class and have general knowledge.

This course I took because of its technical aspects. Through the world of GIS we can visualize the Real world in digital maps . Through spatial analysis we can visualize the probility and impact of natural as well as natural phenomena. The curriculum is overall good.

The main reason I took is the integrated msc degree of applied geography and geoinformatics. Geoinformatics is a growing field which will allow the people gain knowledge on preparing digital maps and remote sensing as well
The over fee structure is highly subsidised as it's a government institution and students under reserved categories are given concessions and cuts in the fees which is of great good. Over all the fees is feasible ignoring the consistent changes made in the fee structure every semester
