Eligibility Criteria
- The students seeking admission in the 1st year of B.Com. (Hons) shall have passed the HSC examination (10+2) [or any other recognized examinations considered equivalent by Nirma University with English as a subject along with any one of the following subjects: Accountancy, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- The candidate must have secured 60% or more marks in the HSC examination (10+2)
- Selection Process: Merit of admission is based on aggregate percentage of marks in qualifying examination (i.e.12th Standard). Total marks obtained in ALL subjects in 12th Standard will be considered for merit.

I choose this course because I was not sure what I am going to do in the future. But after coming to this college and meeting my faculty members I become clearer about what I am going to be in the future. My university faculty is very helpful they teach us subjects and also other than that subjects. My faculty do not make questions paper easy they give us concept base questions which make papa easier for those who have attended the lecture.
Course Curriculum Overview:
This course prepares students for Accounting, Banking, Insurance, and Finance. The program structure is designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to meet the challenges of accounting, auditing, taxation, legal and BFSI sectors. The Institute has 11 full-time faculties and 12 visiting faculties. The faculties at the institute are so friendly & helpful. The teaching methodology includes class discussions and presentations followed by putting theoretical knowledge in use by incorporating internships and live projects. Also, weekly guest lectures and industrial visits & interaction with industry experts. In addition to the core curriculum, every semester one supplementary course is offered like HRM, Personality Development, Foreign language, Presentation skills, Data analytics, and many more. Every 20 sessions per subject, the institute conducts quizzes and class tests which help students to get prepared for the end-term examinations.

All the faculty are very nice and helpful whenever you are in need. There is a 5-month duration of a semester it is a bit difficult to pass. I liked the teaching method of the faculty every faculty is highly qualified.

Some institutes may charge less than Nirma University for the B.Com course but I don't think they provide this level of content that NU offer's.The whole fee of our B.Com programme was INR 3.55 Lacs & students had to pay it on annual basis across the 3 years of the course

How is Nirma University for a B.Com. (Honours)?
It is too early to remark on the quality of Nirma University's B.Com. (Hons.) program because it only started in the 2016–17 academic year. As far as I know, it is held in the Institute of Management building. It has excellent infrastructure and a high-quality learning environment.
Nirma University is the place to be if you are studious and want to earn and learn something important. Most people would not recommend it until a few batches graduate from the Commerce Department.
The fee structure is very high compared to any other institute. Since it is a new department, there are no records of placements/internships.
If you are a middle-class person, investing a lot for a year with no prior experience is a large risk. But it is a good value for someone who can afford it because of the university's overall reputation.
