Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum integrated all the major periods of English Literature, through the entire world. The curriculum included British Literarure from Medieval era to the Modern era, American literature, Classical Indian Literature, Post colonial Literature etc. The curriculum prepares us well for further academic pursuits, particularly PhD. The exams were held at the end of entire semester, approx 6 months. The assignments were taken once every semester.

- The infrastructure is great, well furnished buildings.
- Equipped with Air conditioner, works properly.
Dislikes
- The batch size is a little more than it should've been
- The curriculum is at times vague and outdated

The curriculum at some point is outdated. However, a lot of aspects of it can prepare you for further entrance in the same field. So from that perspective, it is quite beneficial. Its quite holistic.

- The environment is full of opportunities both socially and academically.
- The professors are highly qualified and learned

- The professors students interaction is scarce
- There's very little hope of placement especially in my degree

Literature is a kind of subject which dives into political, social, historical, psychological aspects of life therefore makes you more self aware and you become a better person (only if you aren't a pseudo intellectual)

I have an interest in Literature and that is the main reason why I chose this course, University Of Delhi has a vast syllabus and the faculty here is well informed and educated on the subject, we have 4-5 papers per semester in the first year, and the lectures are for 1 hour each, there are a lot of teachers teaching simultaneously so we get to see one teacher every weak. For example we have a lecture on Shakespeare sonnet on monday at 9:30, we will continue that next week, this way it doesn't get on our nerves and we get time to revise and a lot of syllabus gets covered at the same time.

There are all sorts of professors in my course. Exams are held every semester with an assignment submitted beforehand for internals. The students number of masters in each campus is about 150. The course English gives detailed info on various periods in England, France, and India.

I chose the course to continue my journey towards becoming an academic but it was a ghastly experience that changed me. The infrastructure and the administration are in shambles, decaying like sunk ships. 450 students in a class which has the capacity to seat a maximum of 150, it felt like I was in a circus. The faculty has potential, some of them that is, but that is something which will soon become submerged in the cacophony of the rest of the faculty which is ill-equipped to deal with students at the postgraduate level. The exams were fairly easy since DU still follows the archaic method of semester exams.
Fee Structure And Facilities:
This college offers many private and government scholarship for meritorious students. Most of them are offered in UG level. Names of some scholarships are - Asha Scholarship, Felix Memorial Prize, The Lisa Radhika Kaul Prize etc.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Semester examinations were held at an interval of six months. The difficulty level to pass semester exams were moderate. The questions were easy and simple. A student pertaining a good knowledge about the subject could easily pass.
Fee Structure And Facilities:
The fee structure is moderate. One can afford the fee easily. I didn't get any scholarship, so I have no idea about that. This course doesn't provide any placement. You have to apply for jobs yourself.

It’s not too late to prepare for the entrance exam MA in English program at Delhi University even in the 3 years of your bachelor's. Just be regular at it and keep some important points in mind.
Be well versed in your BA course- Read your text thoroughly and in various aspects. Read diverse critical essays on each text to attain a multiplicity of perspectives. In case you are graduating from a different subject, refer to the BA(Hons.) DU syllabus.
Read History of English literature- Knowing the roots is a basic step. To get an idea of the basic chronology and ages refer to these books:
