The curriculum is actually great as it helps us to prepare for the competitive exams like the cell biology, genomics and various other topics. Also, the teachers are very friendly and they teach through E-boards which is very helpful as it is easy to use. The type of exams is the semester type in every 4 months exams are conducted and the difficulty level is medium to hard.

Bsc. Microbiology is really a very interesting field where we explore a world of microbes. And they are everywhere affecting everything so this makes it a vast subject. Every semester we have at least one new core subject which teaches the effect of microbes in real world. Practical syllabus is also very interesting and we perform every single practical and reports result to teachers. The exams are conducted twice in a year and the difficulty level is moderate.

The course I chose provide a detailed insight on the topics related to microbes, it being used in dairy, food, medicine industry thus opening a variety of future paths for me. The curriculum consists of latest and up to date information regarding the microbial world while also providing a comprehensive look at its history. The curriculum could include more internship based practicals, where we are evaluated by industries and research Institutes. There are end term exams with a good level of difficulty and Home exams for internal assessments

Microbiology course has a great role in medical industry. I decided to choose this course because it has a great practical approaches and gave a great knowledge of microbes. how to isolate microbes? How pathogens prey their host and how do they grow? How microbes affect food? What are the economic importance of some microbes. Microscopic knowledge , you learned more practical skills and theory is also very vast. The exams will be difficult if you do not attend the classes regularly and didn't able to do practicals because the exam level will be high and the paper will be lengthy. You have to learned writing skills focused on quality of writing except quantity means do not write up to fill just the papers because it's not work here. You have to write all the aspects in detail but also maintain the quality.

Being highly interested in science, microbiology seemed very fascinating to me. I specifically choose this course because I liked biology from the very beginning. In Ram Lal Anand College, we had a plus point that our principal sir also belonged to the microbiology department and taught us for 2 semesters. His teaching skills are mind-blowing and he has always been a source of motivation for all. The faculty of microbiology consists of 7 professors including the principal sir and 4 lab staff. The student ratio in my class was a bit high, making the strength of 54 students. The standard of examination was high and it required efforts to score well.
