I personally was inclined towards electronics and hence chose the course. The exams are well distributed and students get a good opportunity to make up their marks due to multiple evaluatives. Exams are difficult

This is a core course. And due to high demand of Electrical and Electronics students, I chose this course. BITS excels at core and IT courses. The professors are PhD holders and excel at their subjects, publishing papers with the PhD students under them. They also hold regular talk sessions, giving insights on how the industry is developing. Grading is bad but worth it

The course is well in touch with the upcoming technology that the world is witnessing. If you are a tech geek, this course is really good for you as it has coding element as well as the circuital element in its range.

So I am doing in btech in electroinics .you may have heard that electronics is the toughest of all eningeering branches so it is very difficult and bits goa has very harsh grading which makes it more diificukt
My course is B.E. in EEE. Faculty to student ratio is good. All the faculties are highly qualified & most of them have a PhD in the relevant disciplines. The teaching method is adopted from MIT, USA. Term exams are well set to check the application of concepts taught in the lectures.
Merit and Merit-cum-need scholarship available for everyone. Merit is for top 3% and MCN is for top 20% of the students which is approximately 120 students out of a batch of 600 people. People receive 15% to 80% scholarship for MCN and nearly 100% in Merit.
The reason for choosing E.E.E. at BITS Pilani was the zero percent attendance policy. The faculty student ratio was 20:1. The faculty comprised of highly qualified professors with the method of teaching focused more on practicals than just theory. There were 2 major exams in a semester apart from biweekly quizzes. The exams were pretty difficult to pass.
Professors are good. Students Are sharp and excellent. The content to learn is a lot. If you are like to learn new things then you are definitely enjoy the academics here. Research studies are decent.
The fee structure is a bit expensive as compared to the other engineering colleges in India. Every year the fee is increased which makes it more expensive. But the fees is worth the knowledge, exposure and other things you get in this college.
It's expensive but fee is worth what college is giving back Fee is basically higher than iit's and nits since it's a private college and not a government college So its 5 lakh annually which is quite expensive
You will find that both NIT TRICHY and BITS Goa are excellent colleges for EEE, and they can be rated on par based on the following parameters:
If you have a financial constraint, you may find it beneficial to join NIT TRICHY since their fees are less than half of BITS.
Alternatively, if you value having a flexible timetable where you get to choose your own professors, or if you prefer the concept of zero attendance policy, BITS may be a better fit for you.
Keep in mind that BITS does not have a reservation policy for SC/ST/OBC.
The better choice is undoubtedly EEE at BITS Goa than ECE at NIT Jalandhar.
NIT Jalandhar is still a developing institute whereas BITS Goa is a well-established institute that has got reputation all over the world. Most of the students have cracked competitive exams like GMAT, GRE, and UPSC, etc with a good rank.
You will interact with people who have appreciable knowledge and you will have healthy competition as BITS Goa don't have caste reservations.
Finally, if you can afford to join BITS then do it if not take a loan and don't worry about returns. You will get them in a year or maybe 2 years. Ultimately the choice is yours.
