  • But please note as I was doing one semester at each university that was one of the reasons I was facing difficulty in terms of having acc. But it could have been arranged better.

Course Curriculum:

As my course was a social science course in Adult Education for Social Change, It was a very intense research-based course with a lot of reading, assignments and a master thesis and placement in an NGO non-paid. The curriculum was good but I would like to have a more practical approach as well, for working in NGOs as well, we need digital and practical skills.

Fees:

My programme fee was 18000 euros.

My course curriculum is okay, to be honest. I wasn't given any industrial exposure or research experience.

  • Dislikes:
  • Course wasn’t worth it. Not a good option for people with loan issues.

Course Curriculum:

My course was very theoretical and there was no practical experience as such and also this course doesn't gave much exposure to the students.

Fees:

30 lakhs

  • Dislikes:
  • No placement: You have to pay a hefty amount of fees just like Indian IITs and IIMs in India, but you won't get any placement unlike them. These Universities organize career events and counselling sessions to provide placements, but reality is start-ups come to sessions to promote themselves and bigger firms just come and give you their website address or cards and go off by saying check online. Then it's up to you only to apply, face 100's of rejection and finally make it if you can.,
  • Lack of funding: After BREXIT, most of the Universities in the UK are facing funding crises, that's why they don't have internships/ research opportunities, especially for science students.,
  • One-year Masters Program: One year program is too short to analyze, adapt and act. But it can be good for those who have good work experience already and looking to grow rapidly.

Course Curriculum:

Yes, the coursework is updated, but the lack of industrial exposure and time in the laboratory is of no use. I had a course named Omics Technology for Biomedical Sciences, where I felt like I would get exposure to Omics laboratory and do some Metabolomics experiments or see how a transcriptome works, but I had to sit a whole day just listening to lectures and finally do an assignment in which I had to sit at home and read papers to frame an experiment where methodology includes any of the omics technology.

Fees:

£23,000 for 1 year in 2022. It must have increased now.

Course Curriculum:

Course curriculum was very relevant and updated. We were given some industrial exposure and got to meet some people from industries.

Fees:

28000 pounds but I think it's increased this year.

  • Dislikes:
  • As an International student, We lack guidance on how to perform well in our exams and match expectations for a better grade. For a one-year course, We do not get broad exposure to anything.,
  • Complicated grading system for PGT students.,
  • As it's our first in-person exam post-pandemic, they have not updated past papers.

Course Curriculum:

The syllabus is not up to date and we were not given any industrial exposure. We did get research experience in the form of assignments and dissertations.

Fees:

32775 GBP= 36,00,000 INR tuition and 15,000,000 INR for accommodation

Course Curriculum:

Overall it is a really good course with a lot of lab sessions and report/essay writing. There are extensive assignments which is a good thing since it will hone your report-writing skills. This is of utmost importance in the research field. The evaluation and marking are very intricate and strict. Have to be precise in assignments. There was no particular industry exposure but just a one-day industry trip. Overall, have to be mentally prepared for this one-year course and do well since the way it is put is different than in India.

Fees:

26,500 GBP per year (when I paid in 2022, could have increased now). It is a one-year Master's course in the UK.

  • Dislikes:
  • The management can be a little rigid with the rules and restrictions.,
  • The course material might be a little difficult to grade for students coming from an Indian background school.

Course Curriculum:

The course material was very up-to-date and relevant to the dynamic world we live in.

Fees:

I had to pay 34,00,000 without accommodation.

  • Dislikes:
  • I enrolled during the Covid time which didn't give me full exposure to the university facilities. There is no placement system, so I had to search for jobs own my own. There is a lot of competition in job, so it takes a lot of time to find the right job."

Course Curriculum:

The course I chose was Machine Learning and Data Science which has a very high demand especially when the world is moving towards AI.

Fees:

The tuition fees of my program was around 23 lakhs and other accommodation fees. This varies with program and can increase every year or decrease, it totally depends on the university.

faculty: 9/10
accomodation: 10/10
