Newcastle from the perspective of an International Student

RE

The cost was lower, quick response to my application and clear communication, a degree that met my needs and seemed really interesting and was just 1 year long, also the location suited me and I wanted to travel from there to Europe

Course Curriculum :

Its as I expected for the most part. I enjoyed having a little choice in the modules and the option to audit for free. The leadership component is the one I like best and I find that it's structured well to scaffold skills at this level.

Fees :

I paid as an international student, so higher than home students would pay. There weren't any other unexpected charges for my particular degree other than a small transportation cost that I paid personally for a 4-day placement.

Scholarship :

I received a scholarship through the university for which I was automatically considered with my application. it took a while to come through but I received it based on my academic merit in my BA.

Examination Structure :

we are guided through a semester of writing a dissertation rather than doing exams. there are no formal tests in my course but once the research and dissertation is completed it will be around 15000 words.

Faculty :

They are incredibly helpful for all students particularly in my course where there are mostly international students. The professors are some what international as well.
