I searched about this university online before joining the university, and most people gave positive feedback about Hertfordshire University and that my course has a good scope in this university. So, that's why I chose this university. My overall experience is good.
Course Curriculum :
My course is Data Science and Analytics. It helped me a lot and I gained some practical knowledge as well. In past, I didn't know how to write programming also but when I came to the UK, in the university laboratories my professors explained each program very clearly and now I am writing programming on my own.
Exams :
- I took the IELTS exam and I got an overall score of 5.5 out of 10 but for the UK country, they preferred intermediate English subject marks. So I have more than 80 marks in English subject. Based on intermediate English marks they selected me. - Vignan E.M High School (SSC)- 8.5GPA(10th); Narayan Junior College - 83% (12th) SEA college of Engineering and Technology - BE Computer Science - 5..7GPA (UG) - Interview Round: Yes, I had one interview with my university-related person. In the interview, she asked about my course and I answered those questions also.
Placement :
Generally in foreign countries, most of the universities do not provide any placements but they will guide us on how to build a resume, how to apply for jobs and what all job-related websites are there.
Fees :
15,50,000 rupees per two years.
Faculty :
If we have any doubts about a subject-related one then we need to mail to the faculty and they will give an appointment for a meeting and we should meet and ask our doubts. The faculty are very friendly. This is my experience in these two years of university life.
Campus Life :
Definitely, I enjoyed a lot in the university with friends and interacting with new people, it gives new experiences. For my studies, I always go to the library and I spend there at least 5-6 hours per day.
Hostel :
We will get accommodation easily and coming to rent, the rent is 300 pounds including bills but in some accommodations not included bills we need to pay electric, gas, and water bills as well and also we need to pay for accommodation.
