Course Curriculum Overview :
A Bachelor of Technology (b.tech) is the 4 years engineering degree. There is a total of 8 semesters and each year has 2 semesters. The exams are set up on the basis of the CBCS system. There are 2 times of periodical exams that happened every semester.
Placement Experience :
Placement is good for electronics and communication engineering and it is about 33%, For Textile engineering, it is 90% above, For civil, there is approximately 10% placement and for mechanical engineering, there is approximately 20%, if I talk about internship, our college also provides internship that is sponsored by TEQIP. Stipends are also given as 250 rupees per day
College Events :
Decibel- this is related to a technical event in which participants made different projects and showcases their projects Task- this is the three days technocultural event in which students show their talents. Chakravyuh-Annual sports meet
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is feasible not much expensive. It is approximately twenty-eight thousand for even semesters and approximately thirty thousand rupees for all semesters. A fee may vary between 500 hundred rupees for different semesters.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
College didn't offer any type of loan facility but there are various scholarship schemes. AICTE PMSSS is the best scholarship scheme for J&K students and the Guru Harkrishan Educational society scholarship scheme is also good.
Campus Life :
Literary fest- This fest is based on essay writing, group discussion, painting, speeches, and some other programs. Voice of electronics- This activity is based on the paperwork, and presentation given on the ideas about electronics.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel facility provided by the college to the students. This college is under construction. For residing, their paying guest house are available between 1 KM distance and pG fee is approximately 5000 rupees
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes, seniors are much helpful. Seniors guide the freshers, and told them about how to learn, live, and what to do. There is no ragging happening by the seniors they are good as friends. There is also a network made by all the students of the college
Admission :
Hey, I'm from Jammu and Kashmir. I got admission here through AICTE Prime Minister special scholarship scheme. This scheme is only applicable to Jammu and Kashmir. The merit list would be shortlisted and I come under 500 rank. Eventually, this college is allotted to me.
Faculty :
There are about 40 faculty members in this college for four branches. Highly qualified and well-educated mentors are available who provide beneficial knowledge I supposed. They provide us with practical as well as theoretical knowledge.
