Remarks :

SCT is surely an emotion for us. More than academics , it gives a good social and campus life with life full of experiences and good moments. On the downside. Our college has only a less area within 6acres of land due to many reasons. Due to that issue , we don't have a good college ground or college hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview :

We were the primary batch of newly introduced Kerala Technological University. Some of their new oridances was good. But some need to be changed. During the span of these 4 years many amendments happened in the course curriculum.

Placement Experience :

Our college provides lot of placement opportunities coordinated by Career Guidance and Placement Cell of college. Renowned companies like TCS , Infosys , Musigma , Cognizant are coming on yearly basis. But one drawback is that majority of the companies which are coming are IT based. Mechanical core based companies are coming scarce

College Events :

Coming to the extra curricular activities in part of the college. SCT is an active campus. Different events will be coming periodically in odd and even semesters of the college. College elections , Freshers day , Arts and sports fest , Holi , Magazine launch , Our techno cultural fest Cult A Way , Demo day etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure for merit category is 35k and for management it is 65k. As our college is Govt self financing one , the fee structure can be a bit reduced for the easiness of economically backward students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Seriously I am not aware of any special loan facility offering by the college except the usual student loans which can be availed by everyone according to the norms of the government. Coming to the scholarship , Egrants benefits are being enjoyed by students whom are eligible in college.

Campus Life :

As i have already said , coming to the extra curricular activities of the college. SCT is famous for that. Our 4 days Arts fest is a book of memories for SCTians and our soul , Cult A Way , one of the famous college fest in South India.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni clubs are working gud at college. Alumni meets and commemoration ceremonies are being conducted by these alumni students in the college.Some of the primary batch students of the college whom are now in higher stakes of society provide their help and contribution to the college when in need.

Admission :

By writing the KEAM exam , I got a good score and better around within 10k. Since SCT is a renowned institution , I opted for mechanical production stream during the allotment phase. In the 3rd allotment , I got SCT and admitted.

Faculty :

Most of the permanent faculty are rich in years of experience and PHD from renowned institutions. Some of the adjunct are poor and they are not at all just to teaching. Non teaching staffs keep changing on a regular basis.

From seventh Semester students were called for interviews for campus selection L&T once come,TCS,Ultratech cements etc..... I don't know about the packages... 40-60 percent of student got placement. My plan was to run my own construction company after complete my degree

The campus placements here are very good and especially in the computer science department the highest package was 34 LPA and it is very huge considering comparing to the other colleges in this state in every branches. Placement Experience:

From 6th-semester students can attend placements but some companies do not take the students with back papers. companies like TCS Infosys are companies which come for the placement. about 40% of our students get into campus placement,40% will get placed for the private placement done by the companies, and the rest 20% goes to higher studies. am planning to go for higher studies after my bachelor's degree completion.
