Course Curriculum Overview :

Pedagogy is quite classroom oriented and major emphasis is put on the academic brilliance. The institution has closely seen all that has taken place in the field of business, entrepreneurship, economics policies, and industrial relations.

Placement Experience :

I completed my summer internship at Tata Steel thanks to the faculty. Companies from different sectors visit our campus for the recruitment drive. Reputed companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Capgemini, Amazon, etc. hired students from our batch for executive and managerial profiles

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure was pretty nominal. I paid around 50K annually, which is at par with other management colleges. Our institute also offer scholarship options for students from reserved categories.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship options are available for the students belonging from a backward class or reserved category. Financial aid is offered by both, the state govt. and university in order to help the students fulfil their dreams of higher education.

Campus Life :

Our infrastructure includes a health center (gym), a state of the art library for the students, a fully air-conditioned hostel, etc. Overall the campus life is very vibrant where we celebrated many occasions. Different forms of cultural activities gave us numerous opportunities to socialise with students from different cultural backgrounds.

Admission :

Admission is pretty direct and straightforward. I bought the application form and directly applied to the college. The college is closest to my home in terms of management colleges, that’s why opted for this college.

Faculty :

All of the faculty members are pretty good in terms of the experience they have from their respective industry. They all are very supportive and showed genuine concerns regarding shaping the careers of the students. They would share their own personal experiences in order to provide us a hands on experience of the topics

Admission:

Eligibility: Graduation from any recognized university in any discipline with minimum of 45 per cent marks. Admission forms are available online. Fill and submit the form with required documents. Admission will be granted on the basis of scores obtained in qualifying exam like CAT/CMAT or like exam.

Placement Experience:

The placement and job opportunities at the campus are enormous. The college provides on campus recruitment facility. About 117 companies visited the campus in 2017 for recruitment. Some of the top companies include Amazon, HDFC bank, toppr, TATA etc.

Life at IIM RAIPUR

Remarks:

Far from the city, we need to travel around 40km to reach the railway station and as we recently shifted to the jew campus, there is very less connectivity from the city, though the college provides college bus f9r around 10km radius, we need more options to connect to the city

Entrance Preview:

I got into MATS university through MAT and my percentile was 99%. MATS is one of the best universities in India and its been 2 years now and I can see the quality of education imparted by the organisation.

Placement Experience:

The crowning factor of any MBA program is placements. The robust placement cell at Institute of Management, MATS University has been functioning effectively for over 15 years. The cell has grown along with the institute, from placing 60 students in the year of inception to working on placing over 700 students last year.

Entrance Preview:

I have appeared for MAT entrance test and scored very well. I wanted to join IIT but my scores was not that much good so i decided to choose this university as it has great placement opportunities.

Placement Experience:

Good companies come for placements. Companies like Ernst & Young, Deloitte, Wipro, TCS, etc. are some of the well known companies that come during the on-campus placements. Last year Goldman Sachs also entered. The lowest package offered was 3 lakhs while the average package was 3.5 lakhs. All the people from MBA were successfully placed.

Choosing MATS university was an easy choice because it is one of the few prestigious university that offers a great placement opportunities. The admission process was so easy.

I know that few of my batch mates whom I do not know personally have won scholarships, but never having applied for one, I do not know of the exact procedure to be followed for applying and qualifying for the scholarship.

Remarks:

The university management is decent and barring a few rules like no drinking inside campus and no entry after 11:30 pm, the students are mostly satisfied with the management. The sports complex is awesome and has all the modern equipment and facilities such.
