Remarks :

Many senior student became good entrepreneurs and started big companies which came as guest lectures and provide that how they made it how the college and the faculty helped them. What we should do to reach that level

Entrance Preview :

After admission they need these documents from students like:- X std. Mark sheet and passing certificate, XII std. Marksheet and passing certificate. Graduation Mark sheet & Degree awarded CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT /UPSEE Score Card, Domicile certificate Caste certificate. Four recent passport size colored photographs.

Internships Opportunities :

yes, Our college do provide internships to final year students in various companies. So that students get a good idea of their Job ethics. as a first year student i really dont know much about the intership programs.

Campus Life :

Campus life, Gender Ratios, diversity, extracurricular activities, labs, sports, competitions, like dancing- Giddha, debates etc are all conducted at a very large scale...Many students of all colleges in the Univ. participate willingly and are very entertaining and competitive too..

Hostel Facilities :

The canteen serves a wide variety of snacks as well as North Indian and South Indian dishes prepared in hygienic conditions. Here diverse food habits and taste preferences come together at the dining table. Rungta has kept suggestion boxes at different locations in the campus for the students to give their suggestions or voice their grievances.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Faculty :

My college faculty is too good and cooperative. They are highly qualified. There teaching level is so good that they make each and every student understand the concept. They give us extra classes and provides notes. They even give us classes before an exam day and clear our doubts.

Placement Experience:

The placement committee of the colleges works very hard for you to identify the best companies according to the student interest level. IBM, Wipro, TATA Steel, Capgemini were a few of the companies that visited our campus during the placement drive. Total 90 companies visited our campus during the placement drive and the highest package was 19 LPA and the lowest was 9.50 LPA.

Placement Experience:

After passing 3rd-semester students are eligible for placement exams. The average package is 3-4lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to get a decent job in a decent company or got selected from the campus placement.

Admission:

Eligibility: Graduation from any recognized university in any discipline with minimum of 45 per cent marks. Admission forms are available online. Fill and submit the form with required documents. Admission will be granted on the basis of scores obtained in qualifying exam like CAT/CMAT or like exam.

Placement Experience:

The placement and job opportunities at the campus are enormous. The college provides on campus recruitment facility. About 117 companies visited the campus in 2017 for recruitment. Some of the top companies include Amazon, HDFC bank, toppr, TATA etc.

Life at IIM RAIPUR

Remarks:

Far from the city, we need to travel around 40km to reach the railway station and as we recently shifted to the jew campus, there is very less connectivity from the city, though the college provides college bus f9r around 10km radius, we need more options to connect to the city

Entrance Preview:

I have appeared for MAT entrance test and scored very well. I wanted to join IIT but my scores was not that much good so i decided to choose this university as it has great placement opportunities.

Placement Experience:

Good companies come for placements. Companies like Ernst & Young, Deloitte, Wipro, TCS, etc. are some of the well known companies that come during the on-campus placements. Last year Goldman Sachs also entered. The lowest package offered was 3 lakhs while the average package was 3.5 lakhs. All the people from MBA were successfully placed.

Choosing MATS university was an easy choice because it is one of the few prestigious university that offers a great placement opportunities. The admission process was so easy.

I know that few of my batch mates whom I do not know personally have won scholarships, but never having applied for one, I do not know of the exact procedure to be followed for applying and qualifying for the scholarship.

Remarks:

The university management is decent and barring a few rules like no drinking inside campus and no entry after 11:30 pm, the students are mostly satisfied with the management. The sports complex is awesome and has all the modern equipment and facilities such.
