Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is updated from last year and the new one looks really good. The exam structure is semester wise. There are two semesters in a session. The odd semester is around November and the even semester is around May.
Placement Experience :
The college doesn't provide internships. But one can find internships at their own. There is a training and placement cell which conducts campus placement every year. And the job opportunities are somewhat okay.
College Events :
Techfest- Every year there is the tech Fest organized by St. Thomas' College of Engineering and Technology, Kolkata named Srey. The Techfest is not a big one but still quite a few students participate in the events. Annual Sports- Every year there is annual sports event also which is carried out at the winter. Also there are various tournaments like Football, Cricket, Badminton, Table Tennis and many more events.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is feasible just like all the colleges in West Bengal. All the colleges under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology have almost same type of fee structure. You have to pay the fees at the beginning of every semester.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college at their own doesn't provide any scholarship or loan. But a student can be benefitted by the tfw facility which is provided by the West Bengal government. Also a student can take education loan from banks.
Campus Life :
Every department in the college has well equipped labs with all necessary equipment and devices available. Sports facilities are also there. Football, Cricket, Badminton, Table Tennis, Basketball all games are being played by the college students.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel facility available in this college as of now. The campus is not that big to build a hostel for all students. So there is no hostel facility. Although a few students who come from other states can stay in nearest PGs which are readily available in the locality.
Alumni/Alumna :
Seniors are really helpful. Alumni network is really strong. Our alumni's are all over the country working for various companies or doing higher studies. Few of them are abroad as well. They are all very much available to connect with juniors for any help.
Admission :
In order to get admission in this college, one should clear WBJEE or JEE Main with an average rank. Then you have to take part in WBJEE counseling. There on the basis of your rank you will be allotted a seat.
Faculty :
Faculties are highly qualified. They all are really helpful. But in every college there is always a mix of quality teachers, this is also not an exception. But overall all the faculty members are good enough to teach.
