Remarks :

Placement is very poor,infrastructure are very good,very big campus and more people are inside campus during working hours.bus are free for every student. safety check more in entrance,it irritates every time.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is good,its an autonomous college,exam structures are very good, very good to learn through exam procedures.curriculum was very easy and exams questions are quite moderate when compared to other exams.

Placement Experience :

I studied in mechanical, placement is not upto the level for our department. student are more in our department,but companies came are not sufficient ,only 20% of students placed through campus interview, i think so.Placement is poor except IT AND CSC

College Events :

They celebrate annual day grandly with TV celebrity guest every year. Conduct hostel day,sports day,symposium separately for each department. cultural events are conducted every year to motivate new talents.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible, hostel fees are little expensive, college fee are different for some person who come through donation.govt mentioned fees are collected from counselling student,they waive 20000 for first graduate student.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

They provided ksr scholarship.,and state govt scholarship too. scholarship is one of the best thing to motivate for poor people to study, they did a lot of work to get scholarship for students every year.

Campus Life :

Labs are very good.,sports activities are very good.,after 4pm you can be in a ground if you are a sports person,they conduct state level sports meet ,and separate other game meet and conducts sports day every year.

Hostel Facilities :

I stayed in boys hostel 1 and 2 for 4 years, it was not upto that level.but its good and entertaining,peaceful,safety place tooo.hostel food is not upto the level they should improve the quality of food and they dont provide non veg separately.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior students are helpful to motivate ,and gave guidance to take next step and achieve in their career.senior students come as alumni to our college ,they told wat to do when to do.,and they told about entrepreneurship.

Admission :

I applied for anna university counselling in 2013, i selected to admission into this college through counselling method. some other student directly contact college and through donation they get seats.

Faculty :

Some lecturares are very good.some teachers are not having enough knowledge to create an engineer.some experienced staffs having enough knowledge to guide the student,teachers recruitment not more efficient.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. The Highest package is 9LPA. The percentage of college placement is 78 percent. I planned to make higher studies after my degree.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
