sangamithra , pongal festival , new year is well celebrated in our campus and talentia will be conducted in madurai campus our college’s national level technical symposium Transpire’17. The symposium has been named TRANSPIRE as it offers a platform to prove oneself. So it will be a platform for you to explore and showcase your talents

Course Curriculum Overview :

It is a special course for agriculture. And the syllabus are timely updated with new concept and ideas and also currently using technology. And the exam model is 20 mark internal and 40 mark final practical and 40 mark final theory.

Placement Experience :

At final year we will called for interview in our main campus for some companies. And we have internship but not with the any industry it is with farmers nearby area. we stay with them for 3months and got some ideas and experience.

College Events :

Freshers day, College day, Hostel day, Acofun, Nss day, Mother's day, Yoga day, Sports day, Muthamizh vizha, And the functions will organized by Dean and other faculties. And students in the 4th year also cooperate with them.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

My course fee is Rs. 70,000 per annum at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. I don't know about scholarships. Loans can be availed from any bank and the necessary bonafide will be available in the college.

Campus Life :

Play ground facilities with 400 m track, basketball, volleyball, ball badminton, handball and shuttle court, kho-kho ground are available for the students to excel in sports and maintain their physique. The fitness centre with multi-gym and other gym equipment in the hostel helps in ensuring good health of the students.

Hostel Facilities :

There are 4 hostels for girls and 2 for boys. The Hostel fee per semester is around Rs. 450. There are a few PGs but not sure about the cost. The food is good and it is provided in the hostel mess. Fee per Month is Rs. 2000 not more than that.The facilities are really good at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

It is planned to revive the functioning of TNAU Alumni Association so as to utilize the intellectual inputs and rich experience of the TNAU alumni for the welfare of the students’ community. Efforts are being made to exploit the expertise of the TNAU alumni to offer special lectures and interactive sessions to strengthen the career guidance of the students. In this regard, a meeting is arranged at 4.00 p.m. on 07.08.2019 (Wednesday) in the Golden Jubilee Hall of TNAU to work out the modalities and guidelines for the revival and effective functioning of the TNAU Alumni Cell. TNAU alumni are requested to attend the meeting on 07.08.2019 (Wednesday).

Admission :

On the basis of mark i got in 12th. After completion of 12th they announced application opening date. Full and full only online mode of application. After sending application they released rank list from we applied. Then through counseling i have joined.

Faculty :

Our teachers are good friend. A good teacher is someone who teaches us like children with love. Good teaching is keeping yourself in the shoes of your students. A good teacher should live his/her life in such a way that those who are watching him/her will not be led astray.

About my UG college

Placement Experience:

After completing your degree you may provide with campus placements. Some agri related Pvt companies may hire you at the time of you complete your degree with basic pay of 10000 plus allowances. It depends on your choice. We can go to various govt. Jobs like AO AFO SO AGT provided by state and central govt. agencies through competitive exams or you can start your own business like greenhouse poultry dairy agriclinic businesses etc.

Admission:

Eligibility: 10+2 from a recognized board with science stream with minimum of 55 per cent marks. Admission form is available online. Fill and submit the form with required documents. Students can choose college according to the rank developed based on academic marks. Shortlisted students will then be called for online counselling and admission will be granted on the basis of that.

Placement Experience:

The placement and job opportunities are enormous. The placement cell of the college organise many interactive sessions to provide exposure to the students. It also provides programmes to develop and strengthen the skills of the students. It also make students aware about different job opportunities.
