college review

Remarks :

I suggest that our college is the best in gaining practical knowledge. Girl students are provided with the best safety place where they can enjoy each and every moment in the college and the parents need not to worry about them.

Course Curriculum Overview :

On research side this is an excellent course with all the facilities available. The exams are conducted semester wise. In that semester u have to attend midsemester, practical, final theory exams per year. We will be having 2 semesters. We will be very busy with the schedule allotted.

Placement Experience :

As I am still studying, I didn't undergo any placements till now. Every year placements will be conducted in the March month. And many senior students of our college have been placed in different places for example as bank officer landscapist etc.

College Events :

In the even semester the functions are going to be held every year. Our college hosts many functions like kondattam, muthamizh vizha, sports day, hostel day, farewell etc. And there are intercollege competitions held. And the students of final years will be secretaries for that so their job is to see whether maximum students are participating in the respective teams.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

For merit students the fee is around 15000 per semester. For NRI quota the fee is 1,50,000 per semester. For Industrial quota the fee is 6,00,000 for 4 years. And the hostel fee will be around three thousand five hundred per month.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I don't have knowledge about it but our college has many scholarships providing for many students. I just have a little knowledge on it as our class students will be funded with the scholarship amount per semester wise.

Campus Life :

The extracurricular activities are very excellent for sports ped sir is going guide everyone in each and every game coming to the dance and singing and all other activities it can be enlighted in the functions. there is no gender ratio in our college. Many workshops will be held in our college.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel infrastructure will be so good that even we forget our homes. And the rooms are so spacious and will be clean. Even the cupboards are provided with the locks for the safety. And the balcony will be cleaned by the workers two times a week.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are such blessing for us people as our college is ragging free institute we interact with all the seniors in our college and they guide us in each and everthing. And in Feb 8 2020 alumini meet for nearly 25 batches of our college is going to be held and IAM happy to be a part of it.

Admission :

For Tamilnadu state people the admission is through merit list of their 12th marks. For other States people the admission is through three different ways. One is Through ICAR entrance exam. The other two ways are NRI quota and Industrial quota. In NRI quota the relatives of the student must sponsor them for their studies and in Industrial quota anyone industry must sponsor the student. The fee structure varies for the two quotas. I am interested in farming so I opted this course.

Faculty :

The classes starts by 7. 30 am in the morning. No professors skips the classes though it is government college. All the professors are well expertised in the subject. To teach a particular course we have many visual aids and for practical approach we will be taken for outdoor classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Agriculture has good scope in India. Many competitive exams are there. We don't only just study at class, we work in field , learn about the farmers and we do everything practically. Technology is improved in agriculture. Many farmers are now adapting the new technologies. Exams are moderate to difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In agriculture what you study in the books is not fully applicable in the field. The practical knowledge that the college provides is not up to the mark. 2.5 hrs practical classes must be engaged better. Every semester there will be 10-13 courses, each consisting theory and practicals. A mid-semester exam(20 marks) is conducted halfway through the semester. The practical exams(40 marks) are first conducted and there will be no gap between the exams. After this with one or two days gap the theory exams(40 marks)are also conducted daily like the practicals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am from an agricultural background so I have chosen this course. There will be 130-140 students per batch. Theory classes will be an hour and practical classes will be two and half hours. Teaching is good. Exams will be conducted at the end of the semester. The pass mark being 60 is moderately difficult to attain pass mark.
