Remarks :

The college is an ancient symbol, and the infrastructure provides a keen similarity to Hogwarts. The courses are very well renowned and the degree does carry a lo of weightage. All in all, it's not just a college but a way of life.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is a mixture of general and skill based subjects. Each semester (till semester 4) consisted of 4 general subjects and 4 skill based subject. And in last 2 semesters, 5 subjects in all, along with 2 projects. Exams are in the form of 4 unit tests and 2 semester exams per year.

Placement Experience :

The college does provide avenues to apply for internships. But it's not compulsory for all. The placement cell needs a bit more fine tuning and most jobs are meant to be for BSC, BA, BMM and BMS. They do provide enough assistance though.

College Events :

Every department has their dedicated festival every year. They are spread across the year, and the main college fest takes place in August, named Malhar. There are various committees like quiz club, debate clubs, etc. There are various workshops held throughout the year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure for government aided courses is feasible. It's not more than 7-8k per year. The self financed courses range from around 30k a year. All in all, it's a feasible structure. There are many schemes for less privileged class as well.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college does provide assistance to less privileged people with a knack for education. They have to approach the principal personally and the scholarships are worked out. Thus, there's no exclusion of anyone.

Campus Life :

The college houses a gymkhana, which provides support for almost all the sports. The college has special coaches for each sport and does provide leaves and assistance for Anny individual performer. The science labs and IT labs are equipped with recent technology.

Alumni/Alumna :

The seniors in this college are very approachable. They are very friendly and helpful. The alumni network is strong and a dedicated department looks after the alumi network. Passing out students just have to enroll themselves in the alumni record.

Admission :

I got in this college post my 10th for junior college. It was through the online merit list process. Post junior college, I continued in the college for my graduation. The procedure was through a preliminary list, followed by an interview and a final merit list.

Faculty :

The faculty of the course is brilliant. It is a mixture of permanent and visiting faculties. The teachers are well versed with subjects and provide a deep insight. They are very friendly and approachable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've had the opportunity to study in the Media and Communication department at our college, and I must say that the curriculum is well-designed and executed. The focus on practical-based learning allows us to gain hands-on experience, which is incredibly valuable. However, with so many options and courses, it can be overwhelming at times.

Admission:

I assumed that you must have read the degree name properly, It is new of its kind, as a student I used to know only about vocational training programs including ITI and plain degree courses such as B.Sc, B.com, etc but the real fact is they lack industry and practical orientedness. I appeared for JEE and followed that herd mentality, managed to crack Mains but lost the Advanced cutoff by 10 marks, luckily I managed to get into Government Engineering College Amravati (my hometown) in electrical engineering and I am all set for the next 4 years, and then comes Turning Point, I came to know about this course - B.Voc in BFSI the very next day after my all-India allotment is done. You guessed it right I have chosen the latter because). Students need not necessarily complete 3 three-year courses to avail degree, rather TISS-SVE (TISS School of Vocational Education) avails a diploma ( at the end of successful completion of the first year, an Advanced Diploma at the end of the second year, and a degree at the end of the third year). I wanted to do all except engineering, Many of my family members are engineers and hence I wanted to be in the finance domain. The course provides an internship for practical learning which helps to learn real-world problems better. I chose CIBMRD College because it is the one that provides this course
