Remarks :

Faculty is good. Permanent faculties are decent but most of the lectures are on guest basis and no doubt they are really great. Mainly the law subjects faculty is awesome rest other arts subject professors are decent

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am pursuing blsllb course right now. The curriculum is decent. As the college follows the curriculum by mumbai University that's why it is a bit outdated yet decent.overall the curriculum for the course is okay.

Placement Experience :

Placement nd job opportunities are great as we have a legacy of 150 years and have a location advantage. As most of tge law firms are mostly proximate. Also, our college is relaxed about the attendance thus giving sufficient opportunity to do Internships.

College Events :

So basically we have different committees working in our college which have their different flagship events throughout the year thus throughout the year there are several events to take part as volunteers or participants.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees of our college is i Believe is the cheapest law college in India. It is approximately 1000 a month and 4000 including mess and hostel. And at a place like Mumbai this is like a wish to study in such pocket frndly place.

Campus Life :

So basically we have different committees working in our college which have their different flagship events throughout the year thus throughout the year there are several events to take part as volunteers or participants.

Alumni/Alumna :

Placement nd job opportunities are great as we have a legacy of 150 years and have a location advantage. As most of tge law firms are mostly proximate. Also, our college is relaxed about the attendance thus giving sufficient opportunity to do Internships.

Admission :

Through a national level entrance test , MHCET.my All india rank was 250 and outside Maharashtra rank was around 40 some how I got lucky and got admission in GLC as there are only 24 seats for outside Maharashtra candidates

Faculty :

Faculty is good. Permanent faculties are decent but most of the lectures are on guest basis and no doubt they are really great. Mainly the law subjects faculty is awesome rest other arts subject professors are decent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum for me being a BBA LLB student comprised of management subjects in the first year and in the third year the course consists of just law subjects. The first two years you get a basic knowledge about the legal subjects and contains management subjects like finance, marketing, management, business environment and economics. Every subject has 60 classes in a semester and 80% attendance is compulsory in all subjects

Placement Experience:

Students of the 3 year course become eligible for campus placements after the 4th semester. Firms like Khaitan and Co., Trilegal, AZB visit the college for placements. Highest packages have gone up to 12 lakhs per annum with average package being 8 lakhs per annum. Around 60% of students get placed. I plan to sit for collelge placements as I want to get into coporate law.

Placement Experience:

From 4th Year of the college the student is eligible for a pre-placement offer, main placements happen in the Final year i,e. 5th year. Companies that hire majorly are Tier-1 and Tier-2 law firms, like AZB, Khaitan&Co. Average package goes to about 15-16LPA. My plan is not fixed yet, but I aim to pursue SEBI or RBI law officer exam.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities in GLC are great. Top-tier law firms come to GLC for placements and internships. The highest package goes to 20 LPA and the average package is around 7 LPA. There are 2 placement weeks in GLC, one in February and another one in September. If one doesn't get any placements through the placement weeks, one can apply to the firms individually and they can be placed depending upon their experience and grades.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements this year have been pretty decent. A student presently is an associate as CYRIL AMARCHANDAS. I am yet in the second year so the plans of specialization and other things would be based on my further internships and the courses taught over the semsters.

Remarks:

The positive remark is that college is very kind and helpful towards its students. And the only negative remark is the infrastructure of the college. The infrastructure of the college is very bad and conjusted. There are very limited no. Of classes and the college has a huge amount of students. Every course has almost 180 students which makes it difficult to comduct a college at the same time.

Remarks:

As the college is newly setup, not that it wasn't running before, its just the three year LLB course which was started last year. The three Year LLB course isn't properly planned out.
