Remarks :
Lack of faculty,old machines in workshop(many of them are not working),exams are taken on time.Condition of many hostels are not good especially of bathrooms.
Entrance Preview :
JHARKHAND COMBINED ENTRANCE COMPETETIVE EXAMINATION.(JCECE)I GAVE THIS EXAM IN THE YEAR 2012 SCORE-89.25/150 RANK-178(COMMON MERIT LIST RANK)I was not qualified in IIT JEE but i got AIR IN AIEEE which was about 39000 in the same year.I had no option beside opting B.I.T SINDRI.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Since my college is single engineering college run by state government so its faculty is good and recruited through an exam conducted by JPSC.Most of the professors read from same college so they are well aware of the students environment.In my opinion core branch (mechanical,electrical,civil) professors are more experienced.
Internships Opportunities :
Generally only one company i.e TATA STEEL is visiting for internship which is paid about 10,000 per month for a period of 2 monthsGenerally it is PPO(Pre placement offer)
Placement Experience :
Generally circuit branches have 95 to 100% get placed.For the session 2015-2016Companies visited are-TCS,(students placed-118,package-3.19lakhs CTC)ACCENTURE(93,3.25 lakhs CTC)MU-SIGMA,(19,18laks for 3 years plus 3 jumps)TATA STEEL(2,10.5lakhs CTC),L&T(5,4.24 lakhs),NARAYANA INSTITUTE(results awaiting)Companies yet to come-VEDANTA(21st of november),AAKASH INSTITUTE(18th if november pool campus in B.I.T MESHRA)
College Events :
We have different types of event during winter session from technical to cultural and sports too.Technical events-SANDHAAN,TECH UDBHAVCultural events-BITAANSH which is both cultural and technical. Last year we have Bollywood playback singer DIVYA KUMAR in BITAANSH as Celebrity performance.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
We have feasible fee structure of our college. Yearly fee structure-Tution fee+ two semester exam fee=16,592 INRELECTRICITY BILL + HOSTEL MAINTENANCE FUND=4,800 INRMESS FEE IS 80 RUPEES PER DAY MEANS IF U DONOT EAT ANY DAY THEN U WILL NOT PAY 80 RUPEES FOR THAT DAY.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Ofcourse there is different type of scholarship available for different students.1.TATA MILLENNIUM SCHOLARSHIP for employ ward only.I am getting this scholarship and its amount is 50,000 INR per from last year.previously it was 25,000 INR.2.STUDENTS are also getting scholarship from state government i.e e-KALYANYes there is also loan facility available.few of my friends are availing it.
Campus Life :
We have separate hostels for boys and girls.As it is government college so it is upto students either it is boy or girl who will perform well will get admission.I think per 15 boys there will be 1 girl(not sure)Ofcourse we have birthday parties,placement parties in our campus.There is little bit castism in our college in the name of BRAHMINS,RAJPUTS etc.We have different events on robotics and awesome prizes for winners.
Hostel Facilities :
Actually we have different allotments in each year.In first year-a group of 5 members are alloted in single room during time of admission.In 2nd year-6 members from same branch in single roomIn 3rd year-2 members from same branch.In 4th year-single person
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes there is always good interaction between seniors and juniors.we always used to go to meet our seniors in case in dispute,help,sugestion.Many companies visiting in our campus because of our alumni.
Exam Structure :
We have semester pattern for examination which was taken by the university.Beside this we internal exam called as mid-sem in each semester.generally in each semester we have 4 labs which we have to do in a week but we get enough time to complete our labs
