Remarks :

Placement in chennai campus can be improved for each and every company we have to travel to vellore which is very difficult and not feasible and quality of the food in mess must improve because the catering is below average

Course Curriculum Overview :

Best course curriculum you can ever have we have to register our courses through online portal and we can choose the teacher which we want to teach and flexibility is there for slots as well morning and afternoon we can choose depending upon our needs and exam structure is maintained through continuous assessment test and project based learning which consists of 50 percent of internal marks and rest 50 marks is the final assessment test if we have do not have attendance of 75 percent and above course should be retaken n

Placement Experience :

As I studied in vit chennai campus for each and every company we had to go to vellore for campus because chennai campus does not provide facilities like vellore campus but placement opportunities can be infinite because there is so much

College Events :

Each and every year there is pongal celebration where men come in veshti and girls come in sarees to enjoy the pongal celebration games like kabadi and koko are conducted for boys and spoon game for girls

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Depends on what people think but according to me it is feasible because for the money worth we are getting all the facilities that we need such as placement opportunities food courts studies extra curriculum etc

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I do not know much about this but I think scholarship facilities are available depending upon the performance of the student in the curriculum and obedience in college and loan facilities are also offered but I do not know much about it

Campus Life :

I was very fond in my extracurricular activities during my school days but in college days I was very lazy using laptop all the time and not getting the exposure that was needed and playing basketball once in a month vastly

Alumni/Alumna :

Best whenever there are new joinees are there in college as a past student we give our experience and advice to the new students that are joining and how to conduct their behaviour in college and enjoy the life

Admission :

I wrote entrance exam for btech but i was unable to get btech courses because my ranking was lower and came out know about the course which I took during admission I did not know much about the course but during admission they explained about the course thoughtly and i wanted to make use of the opportunity because it was a masters degree ug pg combined I can complete the course in 5 years instead of six years

Faculty :

Their job is to teach they will come and teach and clarify whatever the doubts students have they wont track each and every individual what they are doing students should be matured enough in what needs to be done by studying and asking doubts

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
