The negative remarks of the college is they never established or publish them to get fame they are only concentrate on development of students that why the college doesn't received any recognization The positive remarks is that every faculty is well educated and knowledge able

Course Curriculum Overview :

Electrical and electronics engineering is difficult course of all other engineering course it consists of total 48 semester paper excluding 3 internal exam for each subject before the semester exam include practical exam

Placement Experience :

Nearly 56 core + IT and other companies approach the college in which the companies recruits nearly 80% of the students who are educated there.the companies that visit our college are tech Mahindra ,infosis wipro, etc

College Events :

Sharp Allora Texperia Boot camps Sharp is a technical event in which the young mind from school are also invited to exibit their innovative ideas and their project , innovative are projected allora is a cultural event this is one of the cultural festival which is conducted only in few engineering college this event only concentrate on the cultural side of the students this development their culture side

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It is quite feasible but when compared to other colleges it is quite too expensive but worth for as of in my fee structure for government quota I'm paying a sum of 95 thousand and those who joining in management quota they are paying a sum of 1l 25 thousand this includes only Tut fees

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes they are very helpful we are still in contact with them they help us when reference is needed from a company to join they also guide us for our achievement now in the new methodology of design thinking a group is formed consisting of 2,3,and final year student they all are clubbed together to bring an idea to develop into a product

Admission :

Applied for Anna University counciling after that they announced a date and they send us a call letter then we went to Chennai for counciling we took all the certificate with us there they verified our certificate after verification we was alloted a system to select the college

Faculty :

They very well educated they hand different method to communicate with the students, the college has now introduced design thinking, in this design thinking each student is guide with a faculty the students bring up some innovative ideas which is later development into a prototype

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
