Remarks :

My college has very good future in terms of placement after graduation n doctors get a healthy pay too. The only negative thing I feel is the location of the college in varanasi which doesn't have a very attractive city life n is very polluted n populated

Course Curriculum Overview :

Mbbs is a extensive course and requires long hours of studies as well as hard work but the pay and assurance of placement makes it one of the most aspired jobs. There are 19 subjects to be studied in a span of 4 and half years followed by an year of compulsory rotatory internship

Placement Experience :

There is 100% placement of all the students aftr they complete their final year examination in the form of internship in the same college at 23500 per month for a year. Aftr that you can either do a job of a medical officer or go for higher studies in the form of post graduation

College Events :

1. Elixir- annual fest. Biggest fest of our college of 4-5 dayss 2 annual day- celebrated and participated by students and teachers actively 3 Institute day 4 freshers- for the first year enterants it's fun n enjoyable

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Very minimal 9k per year. Though now it has increased a bit but well affordable still It's quite feasible as varanasi is not a very expensive city. You can easily stay and you start earning 23500 per month in internship

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I haven't availed for any scholarship and the fees here is very minimal. 9k per year including hostel. Only mess fees is extra You will start earning by internship which is 23500 per month. In fact you clear your college fees in a couple of month or so

Campus Life :

Must say in our college there is not much scope for extra curricular activities. The only drawback I feel here. But the lesser scope has a combination of reasons like the vastness of the course as well as institute's interest

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel are not well maintained at all. They are very antique but you enjoy staying here as there is huge open spaces to play Hostels lack good canteens and other services but the rooms are spacious

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior junior relationships in our college is really great. We live together in the same hostel and get to know the do's and donts for our future Alumni are also very helpful, They actively contribute and participate in annual fests

Admission :

To get admission into Institute of medical sciences Banaras hindu university you have to appear for Neet or aipmt exam after completion of 12th.its selection is based on merit and most often the seats are filled with air 700 for general candidates

Faculty :

The faculty of the Institute is highly experienced and highly respected all over india. They are great clinicians though academically they may not be the best but at the end of the day you need learn the clinical tricks rather than acquiring clinical knowledge only

Course Curriculum Overview:

Nowadays the new comprehensive curriculum is applied all over India so our college also following the same. It includes theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge at the same time. First theory is taught by the faculty then the practical application is taught by live demonstration on the patient. Even a visit to the operation theatre is also provided to clear the clinical concept.

Mbbs as a profession, no doubt is a great profession with a wide variety of challenges that indulge us to work hard to understand clinical approaches to gather knowledge. Most difficult course but it teaches us to deal challenges that we are going to face in next upcoming years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We are doing mbbs, so offcourse we are learning very much effective things.. We attend much of clinical postings so come to know abbout diseases.. We find our knowledge very helpful for the people we can atleast make differential diagnosis.. We can save many of people surrounding us from disesease to progress to chronic state..

Place to become a good doctor for future of others

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college fest is held every year which is named as RHYTHM. This is full of games, comptetion, tournaments, fun and lots of memories. Quiz, seminar and other competitions are also conducted regularly. Examination schedule is two terminal exams, one professional exam and some PCTs in between.
