- the ambience and the college environment is welcoming and free of all judgments of sorts. There are students from diverse cultures and all of them seem to be pleasant but not over- intruding. Making friends is easy and worth a while, and its beautifu
- The campus is very green and soo many plats to admire if you like spending time in peaceful corners.
- The faculty is nice and supportive, not all will be your favourite but with few, it is a bond.
Dislikes
- The rules are arbitrary and unamendable. The student sessions are only to listen to our concerns and throw them away.
- The college is unneccesarily expensive and not all charges are reasonable.
- The college has too many events and soetimes it may seem like nuisance.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course taught is amazing and with all the topics covered in the syllabus, but teh teachers may skip on major one so do make sure you study on your own as well. Subjects like jurisprudence and constitution need a lot of self-study. If you don't understand the teaching methodology then do reach out to the faculty.
Internships Opportunities
there is a whole internship committee dedicated to this task but it's better if you get your internships which increases fraternity presence and other overall experience. The whole getting internships can be intimidating, it's better if you approach your seniors for some help.
Placement Experience
The placements are promised for law, but it's better if you apply by yourself because Karnavati doesn't have much reputation when it comes to law placements. It is much better if you get the job on your own merits. Make sure you do internships every vacation and gain hands-on experience at multiple places.
Fees and Financial Aid
the fee that I pay for my BA.LLB course is 2.5 lakh per semester, which is constant every 6 months. This has not been increased since I was admitted in 2022. But there are additional fees, though the above is counted into the tuition fee, other fees include transport fees if you avail of the bus, which for me is 37,000 per year since I am a localite in Ahmedabad. Another fee that is usually a concern for students is a compulsory activity fee of 5,000/- which has increased since first started. The activity fee shouldn't be mandatory but still it is. Other fees include exam fees every time before midterms and finals which may depend on the administration staff.
Campus Life
there are a lot of events, literature fest, monthly book stalls, other concerts, festival celebrations, etc. The college is a very lively one and all the vents are catered to properly. The clubs are from singing, dancing, poetry, theatre and drama while other student council roles are also open.
Admission
I applied to Nirma, NLUs, and Karnavati. Though this college was backup since the previous things didn't work out, I ended up here. The College isn't as bad if you are unbothered and focused on your stuff. The admission process is pretty simple and the online entrance is pretty easy as well.
Faculty
the faculty is very approachable and super nice when it comes to a few. When it comes to law though, half of the faculty is university alumni, hence sometimes they do wanna better the structure on their level but sometimes it's just their comfort zone.
Night Life
since the college is located in an area that is away from the city, the nightlife is mostly whatever can be traveled to nearby. The hostels close by 11 and it's strict, but the nightlife can be enjoyed if you are a PG living person or an apartment away from college.
