Remarks :
No criteria of attendance . Good lab infrastructure and equipments. Stop depending on college if you want a good placement if you want to achieve something you need to do it on your own, lack of good faculty and accomodation
Course Curriculum Overview :
Vast amount of course syllabus, starting from the initial years especially for electronic background. hectic examination pattern of total 4 internals 2 externals 2 practicals and major and minor projects though easy to pass these exams
Placement Experience :
Placements are average as compared to other colleges. Mostly cs/it companies came to hire that would have the criteria of CS /IT only, very less opportunity for electrical and electronics Students. Less involvement of placement head in ensuring to keep bond with the companies hr
College Events :
IEEE day that is a week long event. Annual fest which is for 3 days consists of inviting popular singers like Gurdas Mann. Women's week robotics competition self defence workshop though do to less bugdet every year this my change
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is a bit Expensive it's around one lakh rupees annually that is a huge amount as compared to Delhi University that takes around thirty thousand yearly but since it provides a professional degree that's a good thing
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is no scholarship given to the student even if you stood first at University level or at any sport event. Just medals that too from university but for internal sport event you get medals that's good about it
Campus Life :
As told above sports event happens at University level and college level every year and you get medals for winning them as well . Lab are well equipped with the infrastructure, you just need to be serious as attending and actually working in labs if you want to learn something
Hostel Facilities :
The biggest drawback of Guru tegh bahadur institute of technology for outsiders is that there is no facility of hostel inside the small campus hence the student need to search for the paying guests or shared flats for living
Alumni/Alumna :
Every senior is good to talk to. Healthy culture and environment. No bullies and no ragging things are there in the college. Though it depends upon you to ask questions and demand help as and when required.
Admission :
Entrance exam of IPU Now it has changed the exam for BTech now it will be based on JEE exam then selection of preferred college on online portal then after seat allocation payment through challan. The process takes about 1-2 months
Faculty :
Super lazy faculty, they didn't provide us the optional subjects that we need to persue just because of the lack of faculty for the specific subject, like we wanted to study grid computing but the faculty was not available so we need to choose another subject
