Course Curriculum Overview

5

I choose this course because i can't get in CSE dept but it is not too bad. the course is intersting and by taking ece you can take it field or ece core side. but if you are intersted in ece side there are pretty well roles like analog/digital vlsi , chip designing, pcb designing, digital electronics etc as we move into 4th sem and 5th sem the subjects are bit harder but if you grasp the topic well it can be okay enough to understand.

Placement Experience

3

Students become eligible through 6th sem to attend placements. bulk students are placed in companies like cognizant, accenture, LTI mindtree, just couple of students placed on product based one and ece, eee core ones. percentage of getting placed is quite low and average package is also pretty low my plans after degree is to try for off campus interviews and jobs

Fees and Financial Aid

I fall under general category and i don't have ration card so i have to pay full fee that is 125000INR. but if you are from sc/st category you just have to pay special fee 6500INR. OBC category or general students who have ration card has consetion of 35000INR. if eamcet rank is below 10k then total fee reiumbursement is available. Special fees and exam fees should be paid by all

Campus Life

4

Well we used have annual fest called sangamam but now it is doing every 2 years it ia biggest fest in college it has traditional day, dj night, and some celebrity appearences also there are several clubs but most of them are inactive right now there are some tech fests feom each branch sometimes there are street cause and nss groups and some inter branch and inter college sports competitions are also held

Admission

i have applied to a lot collges but according to my rank in eamcet i got into this one it is not a top college but is is not bad or even average it is a pretty decent college and a safe option too. you can get into admission based on your eamcet rank or you can also be in this through management quota or through b category too. cutoff ranks varies every year it is better to check previous year cutoffs always.

Faculty

4

I don't know exact number of faculty but there are enough for students. Most of the faculty are good with subjects and solving doubts too. Some are too strict and uptight but that isn't a big issue. there are 2 mid exams Mid-1 at first half of semester and mid-2 at end of semester. and then semester exams .The difficulty level depends on each subject mostly it is moderate not too easy or not too hard.the course is pretty relevent to curriculum. the pass percentage varies upn each semester and subject but if a student studies moderately also he can easily pass.

Night Life

4

our college doesn't have hostel so pretty much no night life and we don't have gym either. but we have cafeteria which only serves veg food and a library but it only has course related books not out of course books but it also has some magazines. we usually hangout in cafeteria or in playground or in rock garden. campus timings are from 9:30 to 4:15. the locality is pretty much safe around night becuase most of them are college students only who live nearby campus in private hostels.

In convener qouta so i have no chance to choose branch or college . If i have a chance to change college defintly i will .In this college first the mindset of the founder, director should change from school pattern to college pattern and they should focus on college implementation not in students personal issues .The exams will happen after every 4 months in between 2 months internals will be conducted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good as of now. But can change a little bit becuase in 4 years we will have 8 sems and 40 subjects. Subjects should be divided in such a way that it should not get burden on the students. In some sems they will just 4 or 3 subjects that will effect other sems by having 7or 8 subjects at a time. That is really tough to clear all subjects at a time that may leave pressure on the students. And another suggestion in teaching methods was therotical class and practical class has to be done parallelly because if theory classes of particular topic has been completed in this week and pratical classes of that particular topic will be executed in some other week lab sessions. That may create confusion in students and there might get forgot what they have learnt in that week. If the theory and practical classes happened parallely they will gain hands on experience on how the things will work and they can understand more better.
