Course Curriculum Overview

I am from civil engineering so practical knowledge is very important. Our faculty teach everything using real world applications and we have frequent field visits to understand the subject in depth. We get the subject in practical manner and they show all applications in projecter and in site.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Placement Experience

From 4-1 we are eligible for campus placement. Companies like Tcs, Deloitte along with core etc..visit our college.the highest package is 6L.mostly 70 to 80 percent will get placed.my plans after getting the degree is to attend the campus placement and secure a job with decent package.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees that we need to pay is 1.35L yearly.The miscellaneous fee of 10k we will be included in it.The scholarship available for students are NSP and fee reimbursement from TG govt.Management fee under NRI quota is 4L per year. Fees for minors is free and free for those who completed their +2 in govt college. Fee structure varies for management like CSE is 20L and so on.

Campus Life

We have 1 major annual cultural and 1 major technical fest.Annual fest is in March and technical will be in January.Our library is very large and we can get any book.we have a block for sports and we have more than 10 clubs and student chapters

Admission

I like arts so I want to join in Civil engineering. so the top college in engineering is VNRVJIET so I opted VNR.and specially civil has a seperate base among all the colleges like the labs, faculty, placements etc.

Faculty

All the faculty are so supportive and encourage us to to projects and help us to participate in every event.we have semister for 5 months..2 mids are there... faculty is to get everything for all the exams

Night Life

Our college ends at 4.40pm.we have gym in sports college.College hostel is located near to college. The places places inside the campus are jsk greens,panda punnaiah square,mba canteen,ratthaiah square. We can stay upto 8pm in clg for study and sports.

Good college with decent placements,but overhyped.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Circuulum is not so good but need to be imporoved a lot. The circulum doesn't prepare for real world job market,need to do a lot more. Ciruculum should be improved. EHave slip tests,mid exams,sens exams.

The placements in our college are good . The average package for all batches combined is 8 lakhs . the average package for cse branches is around 10 lakhs per annum. Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good as of now. But can change a little bit becuase in 4 years we will have 8 sems and 40 subjects. Subjects should be divided in such a way that it should not get burden on the students. In some sems they will just 4 or 3 subjects that will effect other sems by having 7or 8 subjects at a time. That is really tough to clear all subjects at a time that may leave pressure on the students. And another suggestion in teaching methods was therotical class and practical class has to be done parallelly because if theory classes of particular topic has been completed in this week and pratical classes of that particular topic will be executed in some other week lab sessions. That may create confusion in students and there might get forgot what they have learnt in that week. If the theory and practical classes happened parallely they will gain hands on experience on how the things will work and they can understand more better.

I did chose this college because it is highest rated EAMCET college in Telangana. Vnr when compared to others is far better in curriculum and placements.the addmission process starts atound Feb of every year. There is also management quota . The only other college applied is cbit . I did not get the seat for my rank . The admission process is of three ways. One sis EAMCET exam and the other is jee mains percentile ( b cat) and the last one is nri quota also called as management quota. I have aimed to go to NIT'S and IIT's but I could manage only to clear the JEE MAIN exam, however for the percentile I secured , In counselling I got only a tier-3 government college. But my TS EAPCET exam went really well I secured a rank of 4594,I applied for TS EAPCET counselling and preffered VNR VJIET because a lot of friends and relatives recommonded it.And also in my home state Telangana it is the one of the best colleges ..
