Course Curriculum Overview

4

Yes the course is pretty difficult as compared to other professional management courses. Business analytics department has collaborated with IOA (Institute of Analytics) situated in UK. They provide fruitful certificate courses each semester. This certificates definitely has some weightage on placement criteria.

Internships Opportunities

2

As I am in the first year I don't have much idea on internships, but definitely as per our seniors college does not give internships to all the students, only the specific students are selected from each class by measuring their performance in academics and exposure towards the societies. This means you need to build a strong linked in profile to get internships from start ups.

Placement Experience

2

I don't think you should opt for Kristu jayanti if you are looking to get a job, because the percentage of getting placed is very low. I have recently seen the students getting placed in the poster and I was in shock to see out of 640 students only 8 of them got placed with a decent package.

Fees and Financial Aid

Firstly college would charge 1000 INR as registration fees and after selection it will instruct you to pay 80500 INR to save the seat. In the semester after few classes it will ask you to pay the remaining amount which is 67500 INR and through that your fee payment is completed for the first year.

Campus Life

3

Yes clubs and events should definitely impact your professional life, becauss it teaches you many things like managing your work and hobbies together. But in terms of sports this institution doesn't support much. The college has recently opened a sports arena for us to promote sports and games, and believe it's not at all in a good condition in terms of infrastructures, equipments and coach.

Admission

I chose Kristu Jayanti College because it has a good record towrds NAAC criteria which is A++, this record looked quite impressive to me. And apart from that it has a good placement cell which prepares you at the time of placements in third year. And another reason why I chose this college is because I got rejected by Christ University in interview, so it was like the second best option for me in terms of affordability and course.

Faculty

4

The faculty of Professional management department is good, but they can act very strict as well towards the academics because they need to maintain their reputation in the records. Apart from that it has a good student and mentor ratio which is 1:20. And exams consists easy or should I say medium level of questions, anyone can get passed.

Night Life

4

It is really nice when you complete your lectures for the day and enjoy your evening with your friends in the campus. I like to roam around at evening in the campus because even if it's small, our campus is very clean and green. Though I don't like the gym timings it closes very soon i.e. at 7:30 pm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly, with respect to relevance, I would rate it low since most of the topics that were taught to us in these 3 years felt like an extension of the 11th &12th grade. A lot of the things we studied felt familiar since we had already studied it so we were disappointed as we thought we weren't learning anything new and growing and developing. However in the 3 year we did learn some new and interesting topics that was very refreshing.
