Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to take commerce after completing my 10th and after applying in this university, I liked the facilities available here and also the classes and the course structure is also easy to understand which males it very helpful and easy

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester fees is 15000 and scholarship is given, but not for general caste. Fees structure registration fees is 5000 Admission fees is 7000 Lab fees is 1000 Miscellaneous expenses fees is 200 Facilities are good and studying environment is also good

Campus Life

In our university every year annual sports takes place it includes various types of sports along with various cultural events, like classical singing competition, dance competition (solo/duet) , and many more

Admission

I applied for 3 universities, 1) Guwahati University 2) Calcutta University 3) Bodoland University I got selected for Calcutta University and Bodoland University but I choose to stay in Bodoland University because it is near from my home and it's kinda same to I choose it over Calcutta University

Faculty

Faculty members are sometimes helpful in certain areas during form fillups and other official works. Course structure is simple to understand and mid term takes place after 1.5 months of admission or 2 months after the admission and end term approximately takes place after 5 months from the date of admission.

Night Life

I spent most of my nightlife in libraries or cafe near my university which helps in passing my time in a good manner and productivity. Gate of hostels are opened till 8pm and I reached there everyday before time after reading books in library

I always wanted to make careen in Accounts background so I opted for M.com and it was a good decision, had no complains with the teachers teaching methods everything was on point the timing of exams were good of 3 hours. 1 disadvantage was that they didn't have campus placements

Placement Experience:

There are Amazon, Flipkart, and federal bank placements at GU, and also department under the government takes part, students from the 3rd semester can join placements. A very low number of students get placements and also most of them have different fields they want to explore so.

The administrative process or work of the University is very slow. Results are not declared in time. It take sometimes 6 months to declare result. The university is located at ideal location. Bus service is not sufficient, more number of buses needed.
