There is no specific aspects behind choosing this course. The thing is that from my childhood I'm into this creative industry as well as my whole family is also into this industry from so long so that's why it became my passion.

Talking about internships NIFT offeres companies like Home center,Godrej,Bocsh, Reliance,The home decot,The mango tree,Grenndigo they offer roles like Product designer packaging designer,stylist etc.there is lot to offerssss

NIFT gave 99%gurantee for campus placements.if there 1% chance if u don't make it in a campus placements still there is nothing to worry about our faculties have n numbers of connections in industry so they also help students to get a good placement they deserv.

Everything is included under tution fees,we don't have to pay library fees,studio fees, machine charges externally it's all included in our fees.talking about scholarship program we have "sarthak" scholarship in NIFT for those who underprivileged students.

Over all campus experience is amazing till now. Cuz we have the best campus here in shillong surrounded by breathtaking nature beautiful skies great campus and what not. My campus has great club involvement we always hold alot of events includes all tye clubs and activities.

Hostels in shillong's campus are not good specifically the nongthmmai one.washrooms are very far from the room there geysers are not working properly. Food quality can improve alot and also the nongthmmai hostel is very far From the college so it takes more than 1h to just reach the campus.

I choose NIFT cuz NIFT it self is a Trendsetter! First thing first NIFT comes under Top 3 Design college in india also it's Government College.The addmission process is little lengthy but if u make it into NIFT then this all is worth it believe me ....

I'm very greatfull to have facilities like this. They scold us always but they do appreciate our best work also and they make sure that we should be ready to crash in industry at any time,anywhere and also we should know all the work around our industry.

This is nice question talking about the night life around the campus, coming from the one of the big city in India,mumbai which has great night life around as compared to shillong there is no night life all things shut around 8in the Eve.
